Zhejiang Changxu Industry & Trade
浙江长旭工贸有限公司
Zhejiang Changxu Industry & Trade, based in Jinhua, sells small farm machinery alongside tracked remote mowers and orchard branch chippers. Its two best-documented models are the 4GY-550QA hybrid tracked mower and the CXC-701-1E chipper. One cuts grass and undergrowth; the other turns pruned branches into chips. The Chinese and English listings and the product images differ on a few build details, which buyers should settle with Changxu before ordering.
Two orchard jobs, two machines
Orchard upkeep splits into cutting vegetation and clearing pruning waste. Changxu sells a machine for each. A mower is sized by cutting width; a chipper by branch diameter. The listings give a clear starting point for both. Both machines also appear in our garden and forestry section.
[1][3][4][5][6][7]| Machine | What Changxu lists |
|---|---|
| 4GY-550QA tracked remote mower | 550 mm cutting width, petrol-driven cutting deck and electric travel. Driven and adjusted by remote control. Ask Changxu directly if you need route planning or autonomous mapping. |
| CXC-701-1E branch chipper | Two moving knives and one fixed knife, with a 190F petrol engine in the text tables. The linked poster gives a different capacity and engine under the same model name. |
| Rest of the range | Changxu also offers tillers, diesel rotary cultivators and other farm and garden machines. Ask for model sheets if you need them. |

Changxu CXC-701-1E Orchard Branch Chipper
Catalogue reference: CXC-701-1E
The Changxu CXC-701-1E is a wheeled petrol chipper for turning orchard prunings into chips. Its text tables list branches from 3 to 100 mm, a 190F engine, two moving knives and one fixed knife, a 2600 rpm cutterhead and 800–1000 kg/hour throughput. A linked Changxu poster for the same model gives 120 mm capacity and a 460 cc electric-start engine instead. Ask Changxu to quote one dated version, then trial it with your own branches before you order.
Ask the factory for the current specification sheet for this model.
Read the full specification record ↗Changxu 4GY-550QA Tracked Remote Mower
Catalogue reference: 4GY-550QA
The Changxu 4GY-550QA is a remote-controlled tracked mower for orchards, embankments and rough grass. A 7.5 HP petrol engine drives the 550 mm cutting deck, and a 24 V 600 W electric motor moves the tracks at up to 6 km/h. It weighs 147 kg, measures 1050 × 850 × 600 mm and lists a 0–30 degree working slope. The Chinese and English manuals reverse the deck-lift buttons, so ask Changxu for the current transmitter diagram, wiring schedule and slope limits before ordering.
Ask the factory for the current specification sheet for this model.
Read the full specification record ↗4GY-550QA: engine cuts, battery drives
Changxu says the 4GY-550QA's petrol engine drives the cutting deck directly and an electric drive moves the tracks. So battery capacity tells you about travel, and the engine sets how long it can mow. The table lists a 12 V 12 Ah battery and a 24 V 600 W motor, with no wiring diagram or battery count. Ask Changxu for the full electrical schedule.
The catalogue gives 0–6 km/h travel and a 0–30 degree working slope. Ask how ground, slope direction, vegetation, attachments and stopping tests change those limits on your site. Also ask what the mower does if the remote signal drops, and for a transmitter diagram. Buyers comparing tracked mowers can raise the same slope and signal questions about the Speedy SPY-550 Tracked Remote Mower.
[3][4]Mower remote: lift buttons differ by language
The Chinese mower description says button 3 lowers the deck and button 4 raises it. The English version says the opposite. Ask Changxu for the current manual and transmitter diagram for your machine, and check the controls and stop behaviour at handover.
The engine brand reads LONCIN in Chinese and LONGIN in English. The nameplate on the machine you receive should settle it; ask for it on the build sheet.
[3][4]Is this a fit for your project?
Based on the manufacturer's published range.
A good fit for
- Remote mowing enquiries quoted against the 4GY-550QA.
- Orchard pruning-waste chipping quoted against a named CXC-701-1E version.
Confirm in writing before ordering
- Mower wiring, remote controls, signal-loss and stop behaviour, slope limits and engine model, in writing.
- Chipper version, branch capacity, knives, a real output test and the documents your country requires.
CXC-701-1E: text table versus poster
The CXC-701-1E appears in both language tables and on a linked poster. The figures differ enough that they may be two builds. Ask Changxu to quote one dated version.
[5][6][7]| Item | Text table / poster |
|---|---|
| Branch capacity | Text: 3–100 mm diameter. Poster: 120 mm. |
| Engine | Text: petrol 190F. Poster: 460 cc, 15 HP at 3600 rpm, electric start. |
| Dimensions | Text: 145 × 76 × 133 cm assembled, 122 × 58 × 96 cm in a wooden crate. Poster: 115 × 55 × 75 cm, beside a wrongly labelled field. |
| Weight | Text: 160–170 kg packed, depending on power option. Poster: 170 kg gross, 155 kg net. |
Chipper knives and output
The chipper has two moving knives and one fixed knife. Each moving knife measures 200 × 56 × 6 mm. Changxu describes the material as imported high-speed steel and tungsten steel, without naming a grade or heat treatment. For spare knives, ask for a parts drawing with the bolt pattern, thickness tolerance and edge angle.
Changxu lists 800–1000 kg/hour throughput, without the wood species, moisture, feed mix or test length. For orchard prunings, run a trial with your own branches. Watch the feeding, the chip discharge and the knife wear on the build you plan to buy. A matching trial with the Speedy SPY-10 Branch Chipper puts both quotes on the same branches.
[5][6]Company records and certificates
Changxu's contact page gives the company name and its site in the Caozhai technology incubation park, Jindong, Jinhua. A provincial enterprise filing list also names the company. Each record answers a different question.
[1][2][8][9]| Record | What it covers |
|---|---|
| 2025 high-tech enterprise filing list | Zhejiang's filing document, issued 19 December 2025, lists the exact Chinese company name. It is a company listing and covers no machine ratings. |
| CNAS accreditation image | Names an SGS Shanghai testing laboratory and expired in July 2023. It accredits the laboratory. Ask Changxu for current product test reports. |
| Company introduction | Changxu mentions awards, patents and manufacturing experience. Ask for the award documents, the patents that apply to your model and a current test package. |
Questions buyers should settle
Is the tracked mower autonomous?
Does the CXC-701-1E take 120 mm branches?
Is the CNAS certificate a product certificate?
It accredits an SGS testing laboratory and expired in 2023. Ask Changxu for current test reports for either machine.
[8]Putting the enquiry together
Start from the field job, then get a fixed machine schedule from Changxu. Close the gaps below before you accept a demonstration or a price.
[3][4][5][6][7]Mower
Describe the vegetation, obstacles, slopes and ground. Ask for the engine model, battery and motor wiring, transmitter diagram, stop behaviour and a demonstration on similar ground.
Chipper
Send typical branch sizes and species. Settle the text and poster differences, then ask for feed limits, a knife drawing, maintenance access and a test of the quoted build.
Shipping and service
Agree spare knives or mower blades, wear-part numbers, packing sizes, manuals, inspection records and who provides service. Get warranty and lead time in writing.
