The Sunyoung 6CTH-6.0 is an electric cabinet for the last stage of tea processing, where the leaf is given its final aroma and roast. It has 15 kW of heating, 12 tray layers and a listed rate of 45 kg/h in an outer size of 1140 × 880 × 1980 mm. Hot air circulates through the chamber, the trays rotate, the air is exchanged on a timer and an alarm sounds at the end of the set time. Sunyoung also lists sterilization among its uses. Where the 6CTH-6.0 sits in the tea line

Sunyoung places this cabinet at the end of processing, for aroma finishing and roasting. Its black-tea fermentation cabinets look similar but do a different job, so their settings and loads belong to that stage.

Sunyoung describes a constant chamber temperature held by circulating hot air, with rotating trays and timed air exchange. Control accuracy, air distribution, rotation speed and exchange interval are not published. Check leaf condition at several tray positions, since one display reading covers one sensor point. What the end-time alarm does

Sunyoung says an alarm reminds the operator when the set time is up, to prevent over-roasting. Automatic heater shut-off, automatic unloading and stored recipes are not mentioned.

Ask Sunyoung how the alarm behaves on the build you buy and for its instructions on ending a cycle, opening the door and handling hot leaf. Write the operator's action and any protection fitted into the order.

If you need a sterilization function

The official page includes sterilization among the cabinet's uses. It names no target organism, treatment temperature or time, leaf condition, reduction level or test report, so this page makes no food-safety claim for it.

A processor who needs microbial treatment should ask Sunyoung for a validation report covering the exact build, load and leaf, and have it assessed against the production requirement. Aroma finishing, roasting, the alarm and the 15 kW heater are separate from that question.

Does 45 kg/h mean a 45 kg batch?

No. The figure is per hour and no batch mass or cycle time is given. Ask Sunyoung for the loading and the test behind the rate. [2] [3]

How much tea goes on each of the 12 trays?

Does heating stop when the alarm sounds?

Can the cabinet be relied on to sterilize tea?
