Grain processing
Guangchang TDSL Mobile Bulk and Bag Belt Conveyor
The Guangchang TDSL is a wheeled belt conveyor for loading loose grain and bagged grain onto trucks, into stores or onto stacks. Guangchang lists a capacity of ≥50 t/h, belt widths from 400 to 1000 mm, lengths from 6 to 20 m, line speed up to 1.5 m/s and a head-wheel-centre height adjustable between 2.5 and 8.8 m. Conveying motors run from 2.2 to 7.5 kW and lifting motors from 0.75 to 2.2 kW. These are family ranges, so ask Guangchang for the exact combination that suits your loading point.

Build my procurement briefLoose grain and bags are two different jobs
Guangchang sells the TDSL for both bulk and packaged grain, but the sheet gives only a tonnage figure. Describe each job you plan to run so the belt and loading setup suit both. Fixed routes inside a plant are served by Guangchang's TGSS, TGSU and TLSS grain conveyors.
| Material | What to tell Guangchang |
|---|---|
| Loose grain | Grain type and condition, how it is fed, and the chute or container it goes into. Ask which width, speed and incline the capacity figure assumes. |
| Bagged grain | Bag size, weight and closure, how bags are placed on the belt and spaced, and where they are received. Ask for a bag rate as well as tonnage. |
| Switching jobs | The belt, side boards and inlet and outlet setup for each mode, and what changes between them. Mode change is manual on the sheet. |
| Comparing figures | Keep bulk and bag results apart. A t/h figure for grain says little about bags per hour. |

Capacity, speed and size ranges
The sheet lists ≥50 t/h, belt width 400–1000 mm, length 6–20 m and line speed ≤1.5 m/s, without tying them to individual models. Ask Guangchang for a configuration table or a quote drawing that shows which width, length and height go together for 50 t/h. How to match that tonnage to the cleaners, elevators and other conveyors around it is set out in our grain cleaning and handling line basics.
For bags, tonnage gives only a rough ceiling. If bags were 25 kg, 50,000 kg/h would work out to 2000 bags/h on paper. Real rates depend on bag spacing, how fast bags are loaded on and taken off, and the build you buy, so ask for a bag rate for your setup.
The 1.5 m/s figure is the top belt speed, not a motor rpm. The sheet does not mention variable speed, so ask whether speed can be adjusted for bags.

Published specifications
Read each value with its stated conditions, and ask the manufacturer for any limit not listed here.
| Specification | Published value | Meaning / limit |
|---|---|---|
| Series and material | TDSL mobile bulk/pack dual conveyor [1] [3] | Guangchang says one machine handles loose grain and packaged grain. Weighing and bag counting are not part of it. |
| Capacity | ≥50 t/h [1] | A family figure for mass flow. Grain density, bag weight, moisture and incline are not stated with it. |
| Belt width and length | 400–1000 mm belt width;6–20 m conveyor length [1] | Separate ranges. Ask which widths come with which lengths, heights and motors. |
| Speed and head height | ≤1.5 m/s line speed;2.5–8.8 m head-wheel-centre height [1] | Belt speed in m/s, and height measured to the centre of the head pulley. Discharge clearance is lower and comes from the drawing. |
| Conveying motors | 2.2 /3.0 /4.0 /5.5 /7.5 kW [1] | Five power options. The sheet does not say which size each suits or give the supply voltage. |
| Lifting motors | 0.75 /1.1 /1.5 /2.2 kW [1] | Separate motors for raising and lowering the boom, used only during adjustment. |
Head height, length and moving the conveyor
The 2.5–8.8 m height is measured to the head-wheel centre. The actual discharge point sits below that, so check truck or stack clearance on the drawing for your build. For a fixed vertical lift, the same maker builds the TDTG bucket elevator.
| Sheet figure or feature | What to check |
|---|---|
| 6–20 m conveyor length | How length is measured, the working angle and the inlet and outlet arrangement for your size, plus footprint, wheelbase and ground clearance. |
| 2.5–8.8 m head-wheel-centre height | The height positions available and how adjustment works, with the angle and stability at each. |
| Wheels and frame | The picture shows wheels or casters and a support frame. Ask about ground conditions, slopes and whether the conveyor may be moved loaded or towed. |
| Receiving point | The truck deck, store or stack you load, the clearance and containment needed, bag orientation and drop height. |

Motors, controls and guarding
The sheet lists five conveying motors and four lifting motors. It does not say which pair goes with each width, length or height. Ask for the pair fitted to your build, and do not add the highest values together as installed power or energy use.
The picture shows a drive and a control box. Ask for supply voltage and frequency, motor protection, emergency stop, the conditions for raising and lowering, and links to your feed and receiving equipment. On the feed side, Guangchang's TZMQ pneumatic and DZMQ electric gates can open and shut bulk flow from a bin onto the belt.
OSHA's technical manual for ethanol plants stresses guarding at moving parts and nip points. Ask Guangchang for the instructions, guards and maintenance access that come with your conveyor, and check them against the rules where you operate.
Accepting the conveyor for both jobs
Guangchang says one machine for bulk and bags saves equipment and cost. Judge that against the build you receive and the two jobs you actually run.
Build
Width, length, head-height range, frame, belt and side boards, the conveying and lifting motor pair, outline drawing and total weight.
Bulk test
Your grain, feed and receiving point, the tonnage achieved and any stoppages.
Bag test
Your bags, spacing, containment and receiving setup, with an agreed bag rate.
Handover
Packing and assembly, electrical and control documents, instructions, and spare belt, rollers, drive and lift parts with service contacts.
Buyer questions
How many bags per hour is 50 t/h?
Guangchang gives ≥50 t/h as mass flow only. Bag rate depends on bag weight and spacing, so ask for a figure for your bags. [1]
Does 8.8 m mean grain discharges at 8.8 m?
8.8 m is the height to the head-wheel centre. Discharge sits lower; check the drawing for your build. [1]
Can I pick any width, length and motor from the ranges?
The sheet does not pair them. Ask Guangchang to confirm in writing the combination for your order. [1]
Can the TDSL be towed while loaded?
Wheels and a frame are shown, but no towing, slope or loaded-movement limits are published. Ask Guangchang how the conveyor may be moved. [1]
