The DAYEE DY580-1600S-00 is a cordless, self-propelled leaf collector. A brushless 1600 W motor runs from two 8 Ah battery packs, written as 40V+40V, and the machine drives itself at 3.6 km/h. DAYEE lists two 8 Ah packs written as 40V+40V. The manual should explain whether both packs must be fitted, what happens when one runs down and how uneven charge is handled. The 1600 W rating has no stated basis, so runtime needs a real test. If two packs prove too short in your trial, DAYEE's CXD1600 mains-powered leaf collector and DY580-173P-00 petrol leaf collector take battery runtime out of the question.

Setting the intake and running a trial
The front intake has five positions between 15 and 60 mm. The photograph shows a wide intake in front of the wheels, but DAYEE publishes no working width or per-position heights. Describe leaves and ground
Leaf type, moisture and depth, plus the surface and how uneven it is. Ask DAYEE whether grit, stones or twigs are allowed.
Set the intake
Ask how each position is selected and checked with the right attachment fitted. The scarifier has its own depth adjustment.
Judge the pass
Agree the trial area, setting, travel, passes and what counts as clean. Ask for the machine's width and turning space for your paths.
Airflow, mulching and the 150 L bag
DAYEE lists 36 m/s air speed and 2600 m³/h air volume, both at idle. Suction changes as the 150 L bag fills, and the table gives no loaded airflow curve or full-bag point, so note the bag condition during any trial along with the intake setting.
The mulching figure of up to 10:1 has no leaf type, moisture or measuring method attached. Bag volume is the safer planning number for emptying frequency and weight. Ask DAYEE how to clean, remove and carry the bag, then log how much you actually collect and how often you stop on your own site.
Scarifier, brush and hose kits
DAYEE names three optional kits and a brush/scarifier speed of 800/min. The price list should state what the base machine includes and how each conversion is done. The 3200 rpm entry is a separate figure from the cassette speed.

Self-drive and controls
The machine drives itself at 3.6 km/h. Speed range, slope rating, reverse and stopping distance are not listed. The DY780-212S-00 is the petrol self-propelled leaf collector in the same range. The photograph shows wheels, handle and controls but no wiring or interlock diagram, so test the drive with the bag, kit and wheels you will actually use.
