Hangzhou SFR Chain Technology

The website belongs to Hangzhou SFR Chain Technology, at Shuyun Road 271, the same address as its company registration. The agricultural booklet names Huzhou Chizheng Chain Transmission as the producer and describes it as a wholly owned subsidiary of the Hangzhou company. It also says the former Zhejiang Elephant-chain operation moved to Huzhou in 2021.

The group brand, the Hangzhou head office and the Huzhou factory are three different names. On a farm-chain order, have the quotation state which company signs the contract, which site makes the chain, and who supplies inspection and service records.

The Chinese farm-chain list covers plain and attached S-type chains, galvanized S55 attachments, S42 lifting chains, CA-family attachments and rice-harvester chains. The industrial brochure illustrates the S and CA attachment families as well. These names point you to the right family; the attachment schedule is what you order against. Give SFR a current drawing with attachment orientation, spacing, hole pattern and running direction. For paired or multi-run conveyors, say which chain sits in each run and how the machine keeps them in time. Ask SFR to check that the attachments clear the guides on your machine before you approve the sample.

For a replacement, send the current chain code, pitch, roller and inside-width sizes, sprocket tooth profile, installed length and connecting-link type. The S62 model display carries photographs only; its sizes sit in the linked S-type family table. That table gives S62 a 41.91 mm pitch, while the ZGS38 combine chain has a 38.0 mm pitch. The model number is a name, not a pitch. Keep the maximum and minimum labels from the drawing when you check the assembly. Describe running speed, frequent starts, shock or jams, dirt and the lubrication set-up. SFR's tables give minimum ultimate and average tensile strength. For a working load or fatigue life, ask SFR for a duty rating and an attachment schedule for your installation.

SFR's timeline starts with an earlier chain factory in 1991 and places the founding of the SFR group in 2015. The company registry gives 2011 for the present registered company. These are separate dates for separate stages.

Acquisitions, customer logos and group size describe the company. For a farm-chain order, put the drawing revision, producing company, inspection method, packing and service responsibility into one schedule, so the delivered chains can be checked against it.
