Dongsheng CA-type Steel Agricultural Chain
Dongsheng's CA-type steel agricultural chain is sold as a family, and the size table on its product images lists each designation separately. CA550, CA550V and CA557 share a 41.40 mm pitch; CA620 runs at 42.01 mm, the CA2060H and CA2063H at 38.10 mm and CAE44151 at 28.575 mm. Use the table to identify a replacement chain, then agree sprocket fit, joining link, attachments and the working load with Dongsheng. The tensile columns give breaking strength, so ask for an allowable duty as well.

Pitch alone will not pick the right chain: three designations share 41.40 mm and two share 38.10 mm. Read pin diameter, inner width and pin length as well, and ask Dongsheng for the full designation and drawing revision of the chain it quotes. Ask for the same full designation when you price an alternative such as the SFR S62 agricultural roller chain.
If you start from a used sample, tell Dongsheng how worn it is and what machine it came from. The table gives minimum inner width and maximum roller and pin sizes for new chain; a stretched chain will measure differently. Include the joining link and any attached flights in the fit check. Sprockets, attachments and length
An agricultural chain can be bought as bare chain, a cut length or a complete assembly with attachments. The product page leaves the supply form open, so state which one you want in the drawing package. Breaking strength and working load
The table gives a minimum ultimate tensile strength Q and an average tensile value Q0. CA550, for example, lists 39.10 kN minimum and 51.2 kN average. Both describe the point where the chain breaks. Working pull, fatigue rating, shock allowance and service life are separate figures that Dongsheng sets for a given build.
Send the speed, start and stop cycle, normal load, likely shocks or blockages, attachments and joining method, and ask Dongsheng for the permitted duty and how it was rated. The company introduction cites older GB/T and ISO standards; ask for current documents that cover your chain.
Field conditions and maintenance
This CA entry is listed as steel chain. Dongsheng sells stainless chain as a separate category, so ask for it by name if corrosion or food contact matters. Tell Dongsheng whether the chain runs in soil, crop residue, moisture, washdown water or fertiliser, and ask which material and finish it recommends.
Request Dongsheng's lubrication, inspection and replacement guidance for the build you order. Service intervals depend on your duty and are best agreed with the maker.
Two table points to check before ordering
The CA555 row prints its plate thickness as 310 under a millimetre heading, where other rows use decimals. Ask Dongsheng for a corrected drawing of that row before you order it.
The drawing gives two pin lengths, L and Lc. For CA2063H they are 29.4 mm and 34.2 mm, and the longer one applies at the connecting link. Check guard and guide clearance against the longer figure, confirm what the ordered length includes, and ask whether the joint or attachments change the return path.
