Lingxing Irrigation Technology (Ningbo) — RAIN LING
凌兴灌溉科技(宁波)有限公司
Lingxing Irrigation Technology (Ningbo), trading as RAIN LING, makes irrigation controllers, solenoid valves, sprinklers and accessories at its factory in Yuyao. The English site describes an in-house route from mould making through injection moulding, assembly and testing. Buyers usually start with the control system: pick the controller, then match the decoder, coil and valve to it, and only then size sprinklers to the water supply.
Controllers, valves and sprinklers
RAIN LING sells three controller types on its English site: a decoder controller, an eight-station controller and a modular controller. The Chinese valve catalogue lists EVA/EVD solenoid valves from 1.2 to 4 inches. Controllers and valves come from the same catalogue, but each pairing still needs a matched coil and decoder. Begin with your field layout and the control system you want, then ask RAIN LING which decoder, coil and valve go together. The valve range also takes in air-release valves, an automatic drain valve and RL-VQ quick-coupling valves.
[4][5][6][7]| Product line | What RAIN LING lists and what to ask |
|---|---|
| RL-CJ100 decoder controller | Up to 100 stations and HSBUS communication up to 3 km. Named decoders cover soil moisture, rain, flow, lightning protection and valves. Ask for addressing, cable type and layout, and how many outputs can run at once on your network. |
| Eight-station and modular controllers | Each has its own product page and its own limits. Request the station count, wiring distance and decoder needs for the model you pick; the CJ100 figures belong to the CJ100 only. |
| EVA/EVD solenoid valves | Sizes of 1.2, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3 and 4 inches, with suffixes A, D and 24. Ask for the coil data sheet, electrical limits, thread type and pressure and flow range of each valve. |
| Sprinklers and accessories | Spray bodies, nozzles, rotors and fittings appear on both company sites. Get the performance table for each model before planning radius, precipitation rate, filtration or water use. |
Where the factory is
The Chinese official site gives the full legal name and the factory address in Hemudu, Yuyao. The English site carries the translated legal name, the RAIN LING brand and the same factory address. The national student-employment service lists the same company name and address with an irrigation business scope. Other irrigation companies with similar names are different firms.
The Chinese site also lists an office in Yinzhou, Ningbo, which handles business rather than production. For a factory visit, sample check or pre-shipment inspection, go to the Yuyao plant and agree who the selling entity is on the contract. The recruitment listing's quality and export lines are written by the company itself.
[1][2][3][7]Models and specifications
Quote the exact model, configuration and operating conditions together, and ask the factory to confirm current availability.
RAIN LING Automatic Drain Valve
RAIN LING's automatic drain valve empties standing water from irrigation lines once pressure falls. Mounted vertically, it opens at 0.2 bar and closes again at 0.4 bar. RAIN LING presents it as a way to protect pipes from damage and frost, and describes it as corrosion-resistant, self-cleaning and maintenance-free. Fit it at low points where water collects after shutdown. Before you rely on it for winter, check the pressure left in the line after the pump stops, plan where the water goes, and ask RAIN LING for the thread size, drain flow and closed-state pressure rating.
Ask the factory for the current specification sheet for this model.
Read the full specification record ↗RAIN LING Air-Release Valves
RAIN LING's air-release valve lets trapped air out of irrigation pipelines and helps stop vacuum forming when the system starts and stops. RAIN LING lists air capacity up to 360 m³/h, an operating range of 0.3–15 bar and BSP or NPT male threads, in a UV-resistant PP body. Typical spots are high points, filter outlets and next to control valves. The 360 m³/h figure is air volume, separate from the water flow in your main. To size the valve, describe your filling, running and draining events and ask RAIN LING for the airflow curve of the size you order.

Read the full specification record ↗RAIN LING RL-VQ Quick-Coupling Valves
RAIN LING's quick-coupling valves give you a keyed water outlet on an irrigation main, for hand watering, testing or maintenance. Insert the matching key and the internal seal opens; remove it and the valve closes. Three kit types are listed in DN20 (3/4-inch) and DN25 (1-inch): brass two-piece sets (RL-VQ75S, RL-VQ100S), plastic four-piece sets (RL-VQ75, RL-VQ100) and plastic three-piece A sets (RL-VQ75A, RL-VQ100A). All six rows list 2–8 bar working pressure. Check what each kit contains, order body and key as a matched pair, and ask for flow data at your service point.

Read the full specification record ↗RAIN LING EVA/EVD Solenoid Valves
RAIN LING makes EVA (AC) and EVD (DC) irrigation solenoid valves in sizes from one inch up to four inches. The AC coil runs on 24 V AC at 50/60 Hz; the DC coil on DC12 V with a 9–15 V range and a pulse condition. Published working limits are 0.5–8 bar and up to 60°C, and the two-inch panel gives 5–100 m³/h. Bodies are glass-filled nylon with EPDM diaphragms and a manual flow knob. Two RAIN LING sources give different AC coil currents, so pin the coil revision, controller load and the size-specific pressure loss before ordering.

Read the full specification record ↗From mould to tested product
RAIN LING's English about page describes making its own moulds, injection moulding the plastic parts, assembling and testing in-house. It lists twenty injection machines, four automated assembly lines and a quality-control laboratory. Line output and order capacity are not given. Use the steps below to tie each stage to the valve, sprinkler or controller you are buying.
[2][5][8]Moulds and plastic parts
Ask which parts are moulded at Yuyao, the resin and material specification, who owns the tooling and the current mould revision. Body dimensions and pressure rating come from the valve drawing and test data.
Assembly and electrics
Fix the coil, decoder, controller power supply and seals before you approve a sample. Ask for the build record that stops an AC unit shipping in place of a DC unit, or one version in place of another.
Product tests
RAIN LING names fatigue, spray-performance and temperature-cycling tests, with cycling from minus thirty to sixty degrees Celsius. Ask for the method, model tested, conditions, sample size and results, and the operating temperature range for your model.
Batch control
The page mentions AQL sampling and ISO-certified processes. Request the inspection plan, acceptance criteria and traceability for your order, plus the current quality-system certificate.
Company size figures
Each source gives its own undated size figures, counted in different ways. Staff, export and customer numbers do not line up. If size matters to your decision, ask RAIN LING for a current, dated company profile.
[1][2][3][7]| Source | Figures published |
|---|---|
| Chinese company page | 4,700 square metres, more than sixty staff, more than twenty export countries and more than seven hundred customers. |
| English website | Homepage: 4,700 square metres, more than eighty staff, more than forty countries and more than one hundred partners. The about page says over four thousand square metres. |
| National recruitment listing | Fifty to ninety-nine staff, with export to over sixty countries. |
| Order capacity | No source gives monthly units, stock, lead time or open production slots. Ask for a dated schedule for your configuration. |
Quality certificate and RoHS reports
The official about page shows a quality-system certificate and two test-report pages. The certificate names the English legal company for irrigation-equipment manufacturing to an ISO 9001:2015-equivalent standard, issued in January 2025 and valid to January 2028. Its audited address covers named floors at the Yuyao plant. Ask the issuer to confirm status and scope before you rely on it.
[8][9][10]| Document shown | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Quality-system certificate | Covers how the factory manages quality. For export, ask for the product conformity documents too, and confirm holder, site, activity and surveillance status. |
| Stream-nozzle report | Page one of an eight-page November 2024 report on submitted stream-nozzle samples, with a RoHS-related PASS result. Request the full report with sample details. |
| Pop-up spray-body and adaptor report | A separate first page for a named spray-body and adaptor sample and related models. It covers those sprinkler parts; controllers need their own reports. |
| CE and destination documents | One image file is named CE/RoHS. Ask for the full declaration of conformity and technical file for your destination and for the electrical build you order. |
Is this a fit for your project?
Based on the manufacturer's published range.
A good fit for
- Buying a RAIN LING controller together with matched valves, decoders and sensors.
- Sourcing moulded valves, sprinklers or controllers direct from the Yuyao plant, with model-level inspection.
- OEM/ODM irrigation products, which RAIN LING offers on its English site.
Confirm in writing before ordering
- Controller power supply, decoder and coil compatibility, cable layout, simultaneous station limit and the firmware and manual version.
- Valve and nozzle pressure and flow ratings, destination conformity documents and current certificate status with the issuer.
- Current capacity, installation roles, field acceptance tests and written support and remedy terms.
Design help, OEM and after-sales
Both company sites mention design, installation and customer service, and the English site offers OEM/ODM. The recruitment listing uses a "zero after-sales" slogan. Turn each of these into named responsibilities, a warranty period and support terms in your contract.
[1][2][3][5][7][11]| Project item | What to agree in writing |
|---|---|
| Site and water design | Send zones, water source, available pressure and flow, filtration and the pipe layout. Agree who selects valves and nozzles and who signs off the hydraulic design. Pump and pipe sizing come from flow, which station count does not tell you. |
| Retrofit and controls | List installed coils, sensors and wiring and the local or mobile control you want. Ask for a written compatibility answer and who supplies and installs decoders, surge protection and communications. |
| OEM/ODM | Set branding, tooling, materials, electronics and firmware, packaging and approval samples one by one, with tooling ownership, minimum order, validation cost and lead time. |
| Handover and care | Request wiring and setup instructions, fault-finding steps, spare-part codes, a support contact and written warranty and remedy terms, including response times. |
Run a field trial on the full system
Set up a trial from RAIN LING's published figures before you promise anything to an end user. Record the actual cable length and layout, how many stations run at once, the valve and coil build, the sensors and the water supply. A decoder that receives a command is one result; a valve that opens and waters the right zone is the result that counts.
For remote operation, test local control, mobile access, loss of signal, power recovery and fault handling on the firmware you will receive. RAIN LING's peripheral photo shows one possible arrangement; ask for the supplied-parts list and the wiring diagram. File the build and measured conditions with your acceptance record, and base any water-saving figure on your own measurements.
