Turbo TBE Corded Mowers

Turbo's corded mower range has six TBE models in its gallery and 2026–27 catalogue: TBE1332, TBE1636 and TBE1842, plus TBE1330, TBE1640 and TBE1844. Widths run from 320 to 440 mm, with 30 to 45 L catchers and mains supply at 230–240 V AC, 50 Hz. The first three have clear power and no-load speed rows. The other three print two power figures each and sit on an “Open for Partnership” page. Compare the rows here, then plan the outlet, cable route and lawn shape, since Turbo's suggested areas of about 400–700 m² come without those conditions.

Power ratings and supply status

The current PDF prints three of the models on a page headed “Open for Partnership”, and the web picture labels TBE1330 as available for development. Ask Turbo whether these can be ordered now and which power rating applies.

Each row is one model as Turbo prints it. Wheel sizes are listed too; ask about slopes and rough ground separately. Turbo also builds a self-propelled walk-behind line trimmer and a gasoline scarifier for the same lawns.

Lawn size, cable route and mains connection

Turbo suggests approximately 400 m² for the 1332 and 1330, 500 m² for the 1636 and 1640, and 700 m² for the 1842 and 1844. It gives no lawn shape, cable length, outlet position, grass load or mowing time with these figures, so use them as a rough guide.

With a corded mower, the outlet position and the route the cable takes matter as much as total area. Flower beds, narrow passages and the mowing pattern all affect reach. Ask Turbo for the approved cable length, conductor size and connection instructions.

Electrical Safety First's UK guidance covers outdoor-rated leads, checking cable condition, keeping equipment out of wet conditions and following the maker's instructions. For your market, ask Turbo for the plug type, protective devices, switch and blade-stop details and the electrical conformity documents for the model you order.

Motor protection and grass collection

Turbo's motor illustration and catalogue mention thermal monitoring, overload protection, carbon brushes and an enhanced belt. Ask for the figures behind these and plan a short trial for collection.

Gross mass, cartons and order quantities

All weights below are gross, with carton sizes. Turbo labels the quantities MOQ (40HQ); get the minimum and loading for your order on the quotation, and ask for net mass. The TB85TR1 reverse tiller comes from the same maker, so ask whether a mixed 40HQ load with tillers is possible.
