HOREY 1000 Series Hydraulic Winch
The HOREY 1000 series is a complete hydraulic winch: motor, brake, planetary reducer, drum, frame, clutch and valve blocks in one assembly, run from your own pump station and directional valve. Line pull is 11.5 kN on the first rope layer and falls to 9.0 kN on the fourth. The company's store lists winch accessories for agricultural tractors and wreckers. Line-speed unit, rope and load rating
Line speed: HOREY's webpage prints 55, 59.5, 64.5 and 70 with the unit m/s. Before working out haul time, drum speed or power, get the line-speed row restated with its unit, pressure, flow and layer.
Rope: listed rope length rises from 12 m to 53.5 m over four layers. The table does not say whether these are cumulative capacities or installed lengths, and it gives no rope diameter, construction, material, end fitting or drum anchoring. Ask for the rope and drum specification that goes with the winch.
Load rating: the series name 1000 and the listed pull are not a safe working load or lifting certificate. Say whether the winch will pull or lift, and on which tractor or recovery vehicle, so HOREY can respond for that use.

Drum, frame and mounting dimensions
The front and side views show the drum, frame and motor and valve block. Use them to check space on the machine, then ask for the full dimensioned drawing of your version.

Built-in valves and your hydraulic supply
HOREY lists an integrated valve block with a one-way balance valve and a high-pressure shuttle valve that controls the brake. The motor, brake, planetary reducer, drum, frame and clutch come in the assembly. The pump station and directional valve are supplied by the buyer. For a custom drum drive built around a separate motor, HOREY's BMR and BMS orbital motors are the families to compare.
Send the load path, whether the winch pulls or lifts, the working rope layer and the work cycle. In return, ask HOREY for the supply and return conditions, how the brake and clutch operate, the circuit and the configuration code. The ZBMR brake-motor figures elsewhere on this site belong to that motor; the winch brake has its own specification.
The store lists winch accessories for agricultural tractors and wreckers. HOREY publishes no slope limit, suspended-load rating, warranty period or service interval for the 1000 series.
Buyer questions
Does 1000 mean a 1000 kg capacity?
1000 is the series name. The table gives line pull in newtons by layer, from 11500 N on layer 1 to 9000 N on layer 4. [1]
Is the 55–70 line speed in metres per minute?
The webpage prints m/s. Ask HOREY to confirm in writing the line-speed unit, the pressure and flow behind the table, and the rope length basis. [1]
What pull do I get with four layers on the drum?
9.0 kN on layer 4, against 11.5 kN on layer 1. Size the winch on the layer it works on. [1]
