Guangchang TQLZ Vibrating Cleaning Sieve

The TQLZ is Guangchang's vibrating cleaning sieve for paddy, wheat, corn, sunflower and other oil seeds, and for grading rice part-way through milling or at the end. Two vibration motors drive the screen box, and Guangchang says the amplitude can be adjusted. Six sizes run from TQLZ100 at 8 t/h to TQLZ250 at 20–35 t/h, each with its own aspiration air volume and weight. Guangchang notes that output changes with the screen-hole size, so choose the screen for your grain first and the model second.

Build my procurement brief

Cleaning or grading: say which stream you feed

Guangchang lists paddy, wheat, corn, sunflower and other oil seeds, and intermediate or finished rice grading. Each crop and each screen opening gives a different output, so the quote should name both.

Your streamWhat to tell Guangchang
Incoming grain cleaningCrop, moisture and condition, how steady the feed is, and what impurities are mixed in. The sheet gives one capacity per model, with no crop split.
Size separationWhich large and small fractions you want out and what product you keep. Aperture and screen layout follow from that.
Rice gradingName the stream, part-milled or finished rice, and the grade you accept. Paddy cleaning and milled-rice grading are separate enquiries.
Place in the millIRRI's milling guide treats pre-cleaning, de-stoning, paddy separation and grading as separate stages. Plan the other machines your line needs alongside the sieve.

Published specifications

Read each value with its stated conditions, and ask the manufacturer for any limit not listed here.

SpecificationPublished valueMeaning / limit
ModelsTQLZ100, 125, 150, 180, 200 and 250 [1] [2]Six sizes on one Guangchang sheet. Check current build and stock when you ask for a quote.
Vibration driveTwo vibration motors; adjustable amplitude [2]Ask for the amplitude range, frequency and how the setting is changed.
Capacity span8–35 t/h across the six sizes [2]Per-model figures are in the table below. Guangchang states that screen-hole size changes output.
Aspiration air4000–11200 m³/h across the sizes [2]Air volume the sieve needs. Fan choice also depends on static pressure, ducts and filter.
Vibration motor powerTwo motors per machine; TQLZ100/125 printed as 0.73×2 kW [2]0.73 is an unusual rating; ask for the motor nameplate. The aspiration fan is a separate load.
Machine weight700–1400 kg by model [2]Bare machine weight. Shipping weight and the dynamic load on the floor come from Guangchang separately.
Overall dimensions3000×1500×1550 to 3000×3000×1550; heading ends in m [2]The unit in the heading is unclear. Get a dimensioned drawing before planning floor space or freight.

Capacity and aspiration air by model

These are Guangchang's table figures. Its footnote says screen-hole size changes output, so ask for the capacity with your screen and crop named on the quotation.

ModelCapacity and air volume
TQLZ100Capacity 8 t/h; aspiration 4000–4400 m³/h.
TQLZ125Capacity 10 t/h; aspiration 5000–5500 m³/h.
TQLZ150Capacity 12–15 t/h; aspiration 6000–7000 m³/h.
TQLZ180Capacity 14–18 t/h; aspiration 7200–8100 m³/h.
TQLZ200Capacity 15–30 t/h; aspiration 7000–8500 m³/h.
TQLZ250Capacity 20–35 t/h; aspiration 10000–11200 m³/h.

Judge the screen by what it keeps and what it rejects

Because screen holes change output, a tonnage figure on its own tells you little. It matters what grain comes out clean, what leaves as rejects and how much good grain goes with them. Guangchang publishes no hole schedule, separation rate or grain-loss figure for the TQLZ.

Ask Guangchang to run a trial on your grain with the screen it proposes. Look at the clean product and the rejects side by side, and note the tonnage and any stoppages against the grade you want. A screen that passes grain faster can still give the wrong grade.

IRRI's commercial-milling page is useful background. It shows that pre-cleaned paddy can still carry poor-quality grain, which later stages deal with. Expect the sieve to clean and grade, and rely on the rest of the mill for final quality. In Guangchang's range, the TQSX and TQSF gravity stoners and the TCXT magnetic cylinders deal with the stones and iron a screen lets pass.

Vibration motors and the air system

The power row covers the two vibration motors only. The aspiration fan and dust equipment are extra loads, and the sheet gives no static pressure, duct size or total installed power. The maker's TBLM pulse bag filters can be quoted for that dust side.

Printed motor ratingWhat the plant also needs
TQLZ100 and 1250.73×2 kW for both. Ask for the motor nameplate and electrical data to confirm the rating.
TQLZ1500.45×2 kW. Lower than the smaller models; ask Guangchang to confirm the figure.
TQLZ180 and 2000.55×2 kW for both. Supply voltage, starting current and vibration settings come with the quote.
TQLZ2500.75×2 kW. Add the aspiration fan and other site loads to get total power.
Choosing the fanPair the model's air volume with pressure, duct and filter figures from Guangchang. Ask it to confirm the dust-tightness claim in writing for your layout.

Dimensions and weight by model

The Chinese dimension heading ends in m and the English heading gives no unit. The figures are shown as printed; ask Guangchang for the unit and a dimensioned drawing.

Model and dimensions as printedWeight and what to request
TQLZ100: 3000×1500×1550700 kg; request the unit, assembled layout and installation drawing.
TQLZ125: 3000×1750×1550800 kg; confirm the current build and maintenance clearance.
TQLZ150: 3000×2000×15501000 kg; ask for support design data and dynamic loads.
TQLZ180: 3000×2300×15501100 kg; ask for inlet, outlet and air-port positions.
TQLZ200: 3000×2500×15501200 kg; ask for packed weight and lifting points.
TQLZ250: 3000×3000×15501400 kg; confirm packing, handling and installation layout.

Acceptance and spare screens

Guangchang sells the TQLZ alongside its other grain machines but gives no line layout or capacity balance. To place the sieve between pre-cleaner, magnet and destoner and balance their rates, start with our guide to grain cleaning line basics. Record the feed, screen and air setting you accept, so later spares and service refer to the same build.

  1. Fix the build

Model, screen layout, motors and a drawing with the unit confirmed. Check current revision and stock.

  2. Plan the streams

Where feed comes from and where clean grain and rejects go. Size the TQLZ from its own table, separately from any stoner or drum cleaner.

  3. Agree the result

Tonnage, product grade, grain in the rejects and stoppages for your feed. Ask Guangchang to confirm recovery and dust figures in writing if you need them.

  4. Plan spares and service

Part numbers for screens, motors, supports and seals, plus maintenance instructions. Ask for screen life, lead times and support response.

Buyer questions

Do the capacity figures hold for any grain?

Guangchang gives one figure per model and says screen-hole size changes output. Ask for the capacity with your crop and screen named. [2]

Is 0.73×2 kW a typo for 0.75×2 kW?

The sheet prints 0.73 for TQLZ100 and TQLZ125. Ask Guangchang for the current motor nameplate before you size the wiring. [2]

Are the dimensions in millimetres?

The Chinese heading ends in m and the English heading has no unit. Ask for a drawing with the unit stated. [2]

Does the air-volume figure tell me which fan to buy?

It gives volume only. Fan choice also needs static pressure, duct and filter losses, which Guangchang supplies on request. [2]

Why does this page cite IRRI?

IRRI's milling page explains the stages of a rice mill. It is general background and makes no statement about the TQLZ. [4]
