Grain processing
Guangchang TFPX Rotary Distributor
The Guangchang TFPX is a rotary distributor that sends grain or feed from one inlet to a chosen outlet, such as a bin or the next process. Seven models run from TFPX4 to TFPX16. Every one is rated 30–50 t/h; motor power rises from 0.55 kW on the four smallest models to 1.5 kW on TFPX16. Guangchang describes automatic positioning, good sealing and a suction device that keeps the inlet chamber under negative pressure. To get a useful quote, send your outlet map, control needs and dust-extraction arrangement along with the model code.

Build my procurement briefStart with your outlet map
Guangchang shows the distributor and an installation feeding several routes, but no outlet schedule for a given model. Work out your destinations first, then ask the maker which code fits. If the distributor sits under a TDTG bucket elevator in a grain processing line, give the maker that discharge point with your outlet map.
Inlet and material
State the material, flow and how it arrives from upstream. The capacity row gives no density, particle size or flow basis, so your own figures matter.
Outlet destinations
List each bin or process destination and its connection. Ask for a labelled drawing showing outlet count, pitch, orientation and available routes.
Route names
Agree the route names and position labels your plant control will use, so commands and outlets match.
What it does
The TFPX routes material. Weighing and mixing are separate functions in a feed plant, as the FAO feed-preparation chapter describes, and need their own equipment.
Published specifications
Read each value with its stated conditions, and ask the manufacturer for any limit not listed here.
| Specification | Published value | Meaning / limit |
|---|---|---|
| Model codes | TFPX4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14 and 16 [2] | Seven models in one table. The sheet does not say how each number relates to the outlet count, so ask. |
| Capacity | 30–50 t/h on all seven rows [2] | The same rating for every model. A larger model number gives more routes, not a higher printed tonnage. |
| Positioning | Automatic positioning; accurate location stated [2] | No angular tolerance, sensor type, switching time or control protocol is printed. |
| Aspiration | Suction device; inlet chamber negative pressure claimed [2] | Air volume and pressure setpoint are not given. Ask for the duty your extraction system must supply. |
| Illustration | Original family illustration [3] | Shows the general design. Connection sizes, dimensions and loads come from the drawing for your model. |
Capacity and motor power by model
Every row prints 30–50 t/h. Motor power steps up on the larger models. The sheet does not say whether this figure includes any aspiration fan.
| Model | Capacity and motor power |
|---|---|
| TFPX4 | 30–50 t/h; 0.55 kW. |
| TFPX6 | 30–50 t/h; 0.55 kW. |
| TFPX8 | 30–50 t/h; 0.55 kW. |
| TFPX10 | 30–50 t/h; 0.55 kW. |
| TFPX12 | 30–50 t/h; 0.75 kW. |
| TFPX14 | 30–50 t/h; 1.1 kW. |
| TFPX16 | 30–50 t/h; 1.5 kW. |
| For your order | Confirm the model, material, inlet and outlet geometry, supply and starting demand, and any separate fan or control load. |

Position feedback and switching
Guangchang states automatic positioning and accurate location. No control diagram or accuracy figure is printed, so settle these points with the maker before the controls are designed.
| Control topic | Ask Guangchang |
|---|---|
| Position feedback | How the selected outlet is detected and how the position is reported to your control system. Encoder or limit-switch type and interface are not listed. |
| Feed during switching | Whether feed must stop or slow while the distributor moves, and the permitted switching conditions. |
| Power loss and restart | What happens on loss of power, an incomplete move or a blocked downstream route, and whether a safe default position exists. |
| Material left inside | How much material stays in the distributor after a route change, and what cleaning or changeover arrangement is supplied. |
| Commissioning check | Agree route-command and position checks for your outlet map, together with a check that material reaches the right destination. |

Suction and sealing
Guangchang fits a suction device to hold the inlet chamber under negative pressure and stop dust escaping, and describes the sealing as good. The sheet gives no airflow, pressure setpoint, duct opening, leakage rate or fan and filter specification.
Ask for the aspiration connection size, the air duty required and where it should be measured, and how feed and route changes affect it. The listed motor powers belong to the distributor, so size the suction fan separately. Guangchang's TBLM and TBLMA pulse bag filters can be priced for that suction duty. The catalogue does not say whether a fan, filter or extraction ducting comes with the machine.
For a plant with dust or pressure requirements, ask Guangchang to state in writing the configuration, sealing arrangement and air duty that apply to your material and routes.
Connections, outline and service access
The sheet has illustrations, including a multi-route installation photo, but no overall dimensions, weight, connection diameters or support loads. Plan the layout from the maker's dimensioned drawing. Each route below it can be shut off with a TZMQ pneumatic or DZMQ electric gate.
| Item | What to request |
|---|---|
| Route layout | Inlet and outlet dimensions, orientation, route labels and space to connect and inspect them. |
| Support and lifting | Machine weight, mounting and lifting instructions and the support interface. |
| Inspection and changeover | Access to the rotating spout and seals, plus the cleaning and inspection instructions. |
| Spare parts | Part references for the routing parts, seals, drive and position feedback of your build, with lead times. |
Commissioning the distributor
A route works when material reaches the agreed destination under normal conditions. Check that alongside tonnage, using the outlet map and control setup you agreed.
Fix the configuration
Model, destinations, material and feed, connections, controls and aspiration. Confirm with Guangchang how the code relates to outlet count.
Check routing
Using a method Guangchang supports, record the command, the confirmed position and where the material actually goes.
Check material and air
Record quantity handled, stoppages, material left at changeover and the agreed sealing and suction readings.
Keep the records
File the route drawing, operating instructions and spare-part references for later changes.
Buyer questions
Does TFPX16 handle more tonnage than TFPX4?
Both are rated 30–50 t/h. TFPX16 has a 1.5 kW motor against 0.55 kW on TFPX4, but the printed capacity is the same. [2]
Does the model number equal the number of outlets?
The table lists codes without an outlet count. Ask Guangchang for a labelled outlet drawing of the model you choose. [2] [3]
Is a suction fan included in the motor power?
The sheet does not say. Ask Guangchang to confirm in writing whether a fan or filter is supplied and what air duty the inlet needs. [2]
Will material carry over from one bin route to the next?
No carryover figure is published. Ask how much material stays inside after a switch and how it is cleared. [2]
