Fengdeng S8 Rice Polisher
The Fengdeng S8 is a rice polisher from Shanghe's S series. Its table gives a 6–8 t/h capacity, 45×2 kW main-machine power and a 22 kW blower, with 6500 m³/h air volume and 2500–3000 Pa wind resistance. The machine weighs 2500 kg. Start from your incoming rice and the polished finish you need, then ask Shanghe to match the air system and electrics to your plant. Running consumption, rice quality, utility connections and the exact blower supply need settling in the quotation.

Build my procurement briefPolished quality and tonnes per hour
Shanghe gives a capacity range and speaks well of the polish, with no measured rice trial. To compare the S8 with other polishers, fix your incoming rice and target result first. Finish, breakage and saleable yield need their own figures, separate from the top capacity. Rival polishers and other rice machines are gathered under grain processing, so you can set them against the same rice and target.
| Trial item | What Shanghe should record |
|---|---|
| Incoming rice | Variety, condition and how it was milled upstream, with input samples. |
| Target product | Your finish and quality measures, sampled the way you agree with Shanghe. |
| Material balance | Weighed input, good output and removed material, with broken rice counted separately. |
| Operating basis | Settings, any repeat passes or recirculation, elapsed time and stoppages. |

Published specifications
Read each value with its stated conditions, and ask the manufacturer for any limit not listed here.
| Specification | Published value | Meaning / limit |
|---|---|---|
| Machine | S8 rice polisher; Fengdeng S series [1] | Shanghe calls the S family its third generation. Ask for the serial revision, design changes and control functions of your unit. |
| Reference capacity | 6–8 t/h [1] | No incoming rice, finish, number of passes or test basis is stated. Agree yield and finished quality separately in a trial. |
| Main-machine power | 45×2 kW [1] | Two 45 kW entries. Ask what each drives, the running load and the supply and control wiring. |
| Blower power | 22 kW [1] | Listed in its own column. Ask whether the fan and its controls are in the supply, and which fan model. |
| Air volume and resistance | 6500 m³/h; 2500–3000 Pa [1] | Shanghe calls the pressure figure wind resistance. Ask for the fan curve and match it to your duct and filter design. |
| Machine weight | 2500 kg [1] | Packing, blower and accessories are not included. Ask for lifting, shipping and installed weights. |
Main drives and the blower
The table lists 45×2 kW main power, a 22 kW blower, 6500 m³/h air and 2500–3000 Pa wind resistance. That is enough to shortlist the machine but falls short of an electrical or airflow design. Added-up motor ratings give installed power, not running demand or a circuit design.
Ask for the drive and blower model lists, their controls, and Shanghe's utility and connection drawings. Have your plant designer check the air volume and resistance against the ducts and filter. List the fan, collector, ducts, valves and controls in the offer one by one, so you know what ships with the polisher.

Space and rice transfer in your mill
The model table gives no overall dimensions or connection heights, and the weight alone cannot tell you whether the S8 fits your building, floor or lifting route. Ask for an installation drawing showing feed, rice discharge, removed material and air connections, with foundation and service access needs. Bran taken off by the polisher still has to be collected, and the Guangchang KXFL bran recovery device is one unit to price for that job.
Describe the machines before and after the polisher and the transfer rate you need. Ahead of polishing, a paddy step such as the Guangchang MGCZ double-body paddy separator decides what rice reaches the S8. Our grain cleaning and handling line basics show the usual order of cleaners, elevators and conveyors, and how to match capacities around the polisher. Ask for the full utility list. If the build uses water or another process medium, get its connection, pressure and consumption from Shanghe; the model page lists none.

Buyer questions
Is 6–8 t/h a guaranteed polished-rice output?
Shanghe gives no quality or material-balance basis for it. Agree capacity, yield and quality as separate figures from a trial on your rice. [1]
Is the 22 kW blower included?
The table lists its power without a supply list. Ask for the blower, its controls and the aspiration scope on the quotation. [1]
Can I use the motor ratings as energy use?
They are installed ratings. Ask Shanghe for measured load data and a full utility schedule. [1]
Does the S8 have a water or mist system?
The model page lists none. Ask Shanghe whether your build has one and, if so, its pressure and consumption. [1]
