Zhejiang Yaofeng Power Technology
浙江耀锋动力科技有限公司
Zhejiang Yaofeng Power Technology makes general-purpose engines, generating sets and engine-driven water pumps in Shaoxing. Farm buyers will mostly look at two pumps: the YFTP30 for dirty water and the YFHP20 for high pressure. Yaofeng's English tables give flow figures that convert correctly between L/min and cubic metres per hour; the Chinese tables print a different bracketed figure. Ask for a duty curve, the exact engine and current documents for the pump you choose.
YFTP30 or YFHP20: pick the job first
Yaofeng's pump menu lists dirty-water and high-pressure pumps separately. Start there. Our guide to choosing a petrol engine water pump explains when a trash pump or a high-pressure pump is the right call. Both pages describe the same size of engine, but the pump ends and the jobs they do are different.
[3][4][9][10]| Model | What Yaofeng lists and what to ask |
|---|---|
| YFTP30 dirty-water pump | For water carrying trash: 1300 L/min (78 cubic metres/hour), 3-inch ports, 26 m head, 42 kg. Ask for the largest solid it passes and the duty curve. |
| YFHP20 high-pressure pump | For high-pressure use: 500 L/min (30 cubic metres/hour), 2-inch ports, 65 m head, 28 kg. Ask for the flow at your required head and the full connection ratings. |
| Engine on both pages | 6.5 HP, single-cylinder four-stroke, OHV, air-cooled, manual start. Ask for the engine model, its rating conditions and its documents. |
Models and specifications
Quote the exact model, configuration and operating conditions together, and ask the factory to confirm current availability.
Yaofeng YFHP20 High-Pressure Water Pump
Catalogue reference: YFHP20
The Yaofeng YFHP20 is a 2-inch high-pressure petrol water pump on a frame. Yaofeng's English table lists 65 m total head, a maximum flow of 500 L/min (30 cubic metres/hour), 8 m suction and 28 kg, with a 6.5 HP air-cooled four-stroke engine and recoil start. It suits jobs that need lift and pressure more than volume. Head and flow are separate maxima, so ask Yaofeng for the flow at your system head, the connection drawings and the exact engine before you order.
Ask the factory for the current specification sheet for this model.
Read the full specification record ↗Yaofeng YFTP30 Dirty-Water Pump
Catalogue reference: YFTP30
The Yaofeng YFTP30 is a 3-inch engine-driven pump for water that carries debris. Yaofeng's English table gives a maximum flow of 1300 L/min (78 cubic metres/hour), 26 m head, 8 m suction and 42 kg, driven by a 6.5 HP air-cooled four-stroke engine. The catalogue photo shows it on a wheeled frame. The Chinese page prints a different flow figure. Before ordering, ask Yaofeng which solids it can pass, for a duty curve, and for the exact engine fitted.
Ask the factory for the current specification sheet for this model.
Read the full specification record ↗Flow figures: use the English tables
The English YFTP30 entry gives 1300 L/min with 78 cubic metres/hour. The English YFHP20 entry gives 500 L/min with 30 cubic metres/hour. Both pairs convert correctly. The Chinese pages print 36 cubic metres/hour beside each of those L/min figures, which does not match either one.
Quote from the English figures. Then ask Yaofeng for a dated hydraulic sheet and curve for the exact pump end, impeller and engine you are buying. The maximum flow and the listed head are separate figures, so ask for the flow you will get at your own operating head. Hose bore and friction loss shape that operating head, which our guide to specifying irrigation hose and pipe works through.
[3][4][9][10]Is this a fit for your project?
Based on the manufacturer's published range.
A good fit for
- Dirty-water transfer enquiries quoted against the YFTP30.
- Higher-head water transfer quoted against the YFHP20, once the flow at your operating head is agreed.
Confirm in writing before ordering
- Which flow figure applies (English or Chinese table), the current hydraulic curve, solids and liquid limits, connection drawings and the engine model, in writing.
- Current certificate scope, the contracting company, the sample and inspection basis, and written service and supply terms.
Factory and test records to ask for
Yaofeng's introduction describes its engine development, machining, assembly and measuring equipment. It also gives capacity, workforce and export figures without a date. Read those as a company overview.
For a pump order, ask for records tied to your build: the engine and pump-end parts list, the released hydraulic curve, dimension and connection drawings, assembly checks, and an inspection record matched to the serial numbers you receive. If emissions or dimensional tests matter, ask for the results for your shipment.
[1][3][4]Certificates on the Yaofeng site and what they cover
Yaofeng's site links six certificate images. The ones below show why a general CE or EPA badge cannot settle a pump order today. Some older SONCAP images carry the name of a predecessor engine company; ask Yaofeng to document how that company relates to the current supplier.
[5][6][7][8]| Document | What it covers |
|---|---|
| EPA 2013 model-year image | Names Yaofeng and an engine family, expiring at the end of 2013. Ask for the current model-year approval for your engine. |
| 2012 generating-set verification | Covers STG2500-family gasoline generating sets, a different product from the YFTP30 and YFHP20 pumps. |
| 2012 water-pump verification | Covers gasoline-engine water pumps and refers to an annex for model names and ratings. Ask for that annex to see whether your pump is listed. |
| Zhejiang Made product listing | Its standard and quality promise belong to a household standby gas generating set. They apply to that product only. |
Company history and address
Yaofeng's introduction traces the business to a predecessor engine company and gives a July 2000 start. Registry records show the present company registered in May 2012. The provincial product platform also gives May 2012 registration and describes the predecessor and its move into general-purpose machinery around 2000.
The contact page and the provincial platform both give the Daming Road site, which matches the registered correspondence address. Before paying, check that the contract, invoice and bank details name the same legal company and the site that will build your pumps.
[1][2][5]Questions buyers should settle
What is the YFTP30's flow?
Does the YFHP20 give 65 m head at full flow?
The YFHP20 page has no curve linking head and flow. Ask for the operating point at your required flow and site conditions.
[4]Is my pump covered by the 2012 water-pump certificate?
The displayed sheet sends model names and ratings to an annex. Ask Yaofeng for that annex and for current documents naming your model.
[8]Do the standby-generator quality terms apply to the pumps?
The provincial listing covers a household standby gas generating set and its own standard. Ask Yaofeng for pump-specific quality terms.
[5]Turning a catalogue pick into a pump order
