TOSFL TF-GT010 Raised-Intake Cultivator

The TOSFL TF-GT010 is a two-stroke cultivator with a 63.3 cc engine rated 2.0 kW (2.7 HP), a 1300 ml fuel tank, a 430 mm working width and a 150 mm working depth. What sets it apart is the air cleaner: it sits up on the handlebar and feeds the engine through a long flexible hose, which TOSFL says keeps dust away from the engine and extends its life. The machine starts by recoil, has a transfer wheel and a tool-free handle fixing. This page covers the intake and its servicing, the soil strip and depth, engine documents, tines and controls, and what to fix in your order.

Build my procurement brief

The handle-mounted air intake

On most small cultivators the air cleaner sits low on the engine. On the GT010 it is mounted on the handle, well above the soil, with a long flexible hose down to the engine. TOSFL says this cuts dust intake and lengthens engine life. To judge it for dusty fields, ask what the filter element catches, how often it needs service and how the hose joints hold up.

FeatureWhat to ask TOSFL
Cleaner on the handleWhich housing, element and clips are fitted, how the element is reached, and the part number of its replacement for this engine.
Flexible hoseHose routing and joint instructions. Include hose and joint condition in your receipt check.
Dust claimDescribe your soil and how dusty the work is, and ask for any filtration test or engine-life data behind TOSFL's claim.

Moving the handle without harming the hose

TOSFL says tool-free locknuts fix the throttle handle to the frame and make disassembly easy. On this model the intake hose runs along the same handle-to-engine route. So loosening, adjusting or removing the handle has to be done in a way that keeps the hose, its joints and the control cables intact.

Ask for the instructions and a parts drawing that show the cleaner, hose and handle fixings together. Find out how the air path is checked after the handle is refitted, whether a spare element or hose comes with the machine, and how TOSFL wants the element cleaned or replaced. If you plan to fold the handle for transport or storage, ask for the approved folding method and hose routing in writing.

430 mm strip and 150 mm depth in your soil

TOSFL lists 430 mm working width and 150 mm depth as separate figures, with no soil conditions or area per hour. Start from the strip and finish you need, and ask for the full machine width if your rows are tight. When comparing working widths across sizes, our mini tiller and rotary cultivator guide relates them to plot size and soil.

  1. Describe bed and ground

Row spacing, strip to work, prior preparation and soil condition, plus access, turning and how close you work to the crop.

  2. Confirm the setup

Ask TOSFL which tine and guard arrangement is fitted, how depth is set on the GT010 and whether any tine sections can be removed.

  3. Check the result

Agree how depth and finish will be measured, how many passes, and in what conditions. Record the machine setup with the result.

Engine figures and the manual you need

The table gives a two-stroke engine of 63.3 cc, 2.0 kW (2.7 HP), with a 1300 ml tank. Rating speed, engine maker, fuel grade, oil specification and mixing ratio are not listed. For running time, tine torque or cold-start behaviour, ask TOSFL directly.

  • Fuel and engine identity

Get the engine label and its manual before first use. Take the fuel ratio from that manual; other two-stroke TOSFL tools, such as the PASSION brush cutter, have their own.

  • Starting and service

Ask for the starting and stopping sequence and the engine and intake service steps for the build you receive.

Tines, transfer wheel and controls

The full view and underside detail show a guarded rotary tine set and a transfer wheel. TOSFL describes strong blades and easy movement. If you move the machine often between plots, match the controls and guards to the operator manual. Where the raised intake is not needed on your ground, the same TOSFL range also offers the TF-GT006 two-stroke cultivator and the TF-GT007 four-stroke cultivator.

Part of the machineWhat to request
Tines and fixingsPart numbers, fitting arrangement and replacement procedure. Ask for tine shaft speed and whether a different tine width is offered.
Wheel and movingHow the machine is set for moving, lifted and loaded, with full dimensions and mass. Ask whether the wheel is only for transport.
Controls and stoppingHow each control relates to engine and tines, and the stop and check procedure from the manual.

Ordering the GT010 with its intake parts

The raised intake is the reason to choose this model, so name the cleaner, element, hose and connections in the quotation along with the engine, handle, tines, guard, wheel and controls. Machine mass, full and packed dimensions, price, stock, delivery and warranty all come from TOSFL's quote.

On receipt, compare the machine and manuals with the agreed photos, parts list and build record, and run the soil demonstration with the supplied setup. Keep the part numbers for the filter element and tines so later orders match the same intake and working assembly. For import paperwork, ask for certificates that name this machine and engine.

Buyer questions

How much longer does the engine last with the raised air cleaner?

TOSFL claims longer life but gives no figure. Ask for any filtration test or field data it can share. [1] [2] [5]

Can the handle fold without disconnecting the intake?

TOSFL describes tool-free locknuts and easy disassembly but gives no folding steps. Ask for the GT010 assembly instructions with hose routing. [1] [2] [6]

Is the 150 mm depth adjustable?

Only one depth figure is listed. Ask TOSFL how depth is set on your build and agree a test in your soil. [1] [4]

How long does a 1300 ml tank last?

No fuel consumption is published. Ask TOSFL for a running time under typical load. [1]

Is the GT010 self-propelled?

TOSFL describes the wheel as an aid for moving the machine. Ask for the drive layout in writing if you need powered travel. [1] [2] [4]
