TOSFL TF-GT007 Four-Stroke Cultivator

The TOSFL TF-GT007 is the wider cultivator in the range, built around a four-stroke overhead-valve engine of 163 cc and 5.5 HP. Power reaches the tines through a covered belt drive. TOSFL lists an 800 mm working width and a working depth of 200–300 mm, and a single front wheel helps move the machine between plots. Separate handle levers and cables sit on the handlebar. This page covers the specification table, the belt drive and controls, how the 800 mm width fits your rows, how to agree a depth test in your soil, engine and parts identity, and what to put in the quotation.

Read each value with its stated conditions, and ask the manufacturer for any limit not listed here.

SpecificationPublished valueMeaning / limit
Exact modelTF-GT007 [1] [2]Other GT-series machines carry their own engines and tine assemblies, so quote this code.
Engine constructionFour Stroke; overhead valves in the description [1] [3]Ask for the engine maker, model, fuel grade and manual.
Displacement/output163 cc; 5.5 HP [1]Engine output as listed. Ask at what speed it is rated and what reaches the tines.
TransmissionBelt transmission, as described [1] [2] [3]The belt cover is visible beside the engine. Ask for the belt size, clutch layout, gears and whether there is reverse.
Working width800 mm [1] [2] [4]Width of the worked strip. Overall width with guards and handle is a separate figure.
Working depth200–300 mm [1]Catalogue range. Your soil and setup decide the depth reached.
Transfer arrangementOne front wheel, as described and pictured [1] [2] [4]TOSFL presents it as a wheel for moving the machine. Ask for wheel load and slope limits if your site needs them.
Blade descriptionStrong blades with high resistance to breakage [1] [4]TOSFL's wording. Ask for blade material, hardness and drawings for stony ground.
Handle/control arrangementSeparate handle levers and cables visible [5]Ask the factory to name each lever and give the operating sequence from the manual.
Efficiency/quiet wordingQuiet running and high power efficiency [1]TOSFL's description. Request noise and fuel-use figures if they matter for your work.

Belt drive and engagement

TOSFL names belt transmission for the TF-GT007, and the photos show a covered drive running down beside the engine. The page gives no belt size, pulley ratio, clutch layout or adjustment method.

Ask TOSFL for the drive diagram, parts list and the manual sections on engaging, disengaging, stopping and isolating the drive for service. Gear selection and reverse are not listed, so ask in writing whether your build has them. Tine speed and torque are also missing; request them if you need to compare this machine with another on pulling power. At a demonstration, have the factory show each drive and control function before the soil test starts.

Fitting 800 mm to your row layout

The photos show rotary tines with circular side elements. The 800 mm figure is the catalogue working width; the whole machine is wider. TOSFL's TF-GT010 raised-intake cultivator is the other model to compare if this width does not suit your rows.

Your layout questionWhat to ask TOSFL
Working between rowsGive your row or bed spacing and the strip you want worked. Ask for the full width of the tine and guard assembly and how close it may run to plants.
Narrower setupIf you need less than 800 mm, ask whether TF-GT007 has an approved narrower tine arrangement and request it in writing.
Tines and side partsAsk for part numbers, fitting order and the purpose of each working part, and which add-on implements, if any, suit this model.
Turning and accessRequest overall width and length, handle envelope and a turning procedure for tight bed ends.

Agreeing a 200–300 mm depth test

TOSFL's depth range comes without soil type, moisture, prior cultivation or pass count. Set the target with the factory against your own field. Our guide to choosing a mini tiller or rotary cultivator explains front-tine, rear-tine and reverse-rotation layouts and how engine size fits the job.

  1. Describe your soil

Prior cultivation, compaction, current condition and stones or roots. Ask which conditions this tine assembly is built for.

  2. Define depth and finish

Ask how depth is controlled and measured, and agree the finish you need.

  3. Test the quoted build

Run the demonstration with the engine, drive settings, tines and method you will buy.

  4. Record the result

Write down soil condition and the depth and finish reached. Work out your daily area from that result.

Front wheel, handle and handling

TOSFL says the front wheel makes the machine easier to move. The handle close-up shows several levers and cables. Machine mass is not listed.

What you seeWhat to request
Front wheelHow the wheel is set for moving versus working, and whether it is only a transport wheel.
Handle leversWhat each lever does on TF-GT007 and the required order of operation.
Loading and storageNet mass, lifting points, assembled and folded size, packed size and mass.
Your siteDescribe entrances, ramps, turns and storage, and ask for any slope or clearance limits.

Engine label, branding and spare parts

TOSFL sells the TF-GT007 under its own name, while the engine and drive close-up shows other branding on the assembly. On its Chinese site the company lists several brands of its own. Ask for the machine and engine plates, the exterior branding you will receive and the matching documents as one set, and confirm in writing that you may sell under that brand.

The table gives four-stroke, 163 cc and 5.5 HP. It lists no fuel tank size, oil capacity or grade, starting procedure or service schedule, and the two-stroke GT006 manual will not apply to this engine. For spare parts, request the engine, belt, tine and fastener, guard and control part numbers and how TOSFL supplies replacements.

Buyer questions

Does TF-GT007 have reverse or several gears?

The page names a belt drive but lists no gears or reverse. Ask TOSFL to state in writing what your build includes. [1] [3]

Can the width be reduced below 800 mm?

No narrower setting is listed. Ask TOSFL whether an approved narrower tine arrangement exists for this model. [1] [4]

How much torque reaches the tines from 5.5 HP?

The drive ratio and tine speed are not published. Request tine speed and torque from TOSFL. [1]

Is the front wheel driven?

TOSFL presents it as a wheel for moving the machine. Ask for the operating manual to see how the wheel and controls work together. [1] [4] [5]

Can I use the GT006 fuel instructions?

No. GT007 has a four-stroke engine; use the manual supplied for its own engine. [1] [3]
