Meihui MH8866 Electric Tea Harvester
The Meihui MH8866 is an electric tea harvester with a 300 mm cutting width and a no-load speed of 2000 r/min. Photos show a toothed cutter with a red collection tray on one side and a cable leaving the body. The listing prints its power figures as 1.5 A/h and 24 V~, so ask Meihui for the nameplate and a corrected sheet before you pick a battery or supply. It packs four machines to a 62 × 48 × 36 cm carton. Machine weight and harvest output are not published.
Build my procurement briefCorrect the power figures before choosing a battery
A/h and Ah mean different things, and the listing prints A/h. The voltage line reads 24 V~. Ask Meihui which is meant before you order a pack or a supply.
Request the nameplate, the operating instructions, the input type, the compatible power source and the connector and polarity details. If a battery, charger or protection electronics come with the machine, have each item named on the quotation. Work out runtime only once Meihui has given the corrected figures.

Published specifications
Read each value with its stated conditions, and ask the manufacturer for any limit not listed here.
| Specification | Published value | Meaning / limit |
|---|---|---|
| Cutting width | 300 mm [1] | The width of the cutter. Area per hour depends on your rows and walking speed. |
| No-load speed | 2000 r/min [1] | Speed with no load. Ask for the cutting frequency or tooth stroke under load. |
| Consumption entry | 1.5 A/h, as printed [1] | The unit is unclear. Ask whether it means battery capacity, current draw or something else before working out runtime. |
| Rated voltage entry | 24 V~, as printed [1] | The ~ marker needs explaining. Ask Meihui whether the machine runs on a 24 V DC battery or another supply. |
| Carton | 4 machines / carton; 62 × 48 × 36 cm [1] | Shipping carton size. Ask for machine dimensions and carton weight separately. |
Trial the 300 mm cutter on your tea rows
The photos show a red tray or deflector next to the toothed cutting edge, a handle, and a cable running out of the body. They do not show the power source or where cut leaves end up. Treat the machine in the photos as your sample reference, and ask whether a bag, battery or self-contained power comes with it.
For a tea trial, note row access, canopy shape, working height and the leaf layer you want to take. Watch where cut leaves go and how much lands in the container. Width and no-load speed will not tell you output or leaf damage, so agree the cutting assembly and its allowed adjustments before the test. Cut leaf then goes on to withering, fixation, rolling and drying, and our guide to tea processing machinery by stage shows which machine handles each step.
Blade, power kit and spare parts
The listing gives four machines per carton but no parts list or machine weight. Put each of these items on the order.
| Order item | What to get in writing |
|---|---|
| Blade | Current blade or comb part number, spare availability and adjustment and maintenance instructions. |
| Power package | Corrected electrical data and exactly which supply, pack, charger and connector are included. |
| Collection and handling | Which leaf collection parts ship with the red side tray, working dimensions and weight in use. |
| Transport and support | Carton gross and net weight, packing, consumables and the written warranty and repair route. |
Accepting a sample on a tea task
Base acceptance on harvested leaf from the actual electrical and cutting build. Other crop harvesters from Chinese makers appear in our harvesting machinery listings. Estates with long, even rows may also weigh a riding machine such as the Kawasaki KJ4N Ride-On Tea Harvester or the Jiuqi 4CJC-1800 Riding Tea Harvester and Pruner against a hand-held unit. No-load speed alone will not show it.

Buyer questions
Does 1.5 A/h mean a 1.5 Ah battery?
The listing does not say a battery is supplied, and the unit is unclear. Ask Meihui for the battery capacity, if any, in writing. [1]
Is 62 × 48 × 36 cm the machine size?
That is the carton, which holds four machines. Ask for the machine's own working dimensions. [1]
How much tea can the MH8866 cut per hour?
Meihui publishes no output figure. Run a trial on your own rows and record the result. [1]
