Auger fitting and replacement bits
The four sizes in millimetres are the catalogue's drill menu. They do not describe the shaft fitting. The photo shows the auger mounted below the gear housing, without dimensions for the shaft or the retaining pin. A replacement bit has to match the drive as well as the hole you need.

Engine speed versus auger speed
The DR520 table gives engine idle and maximum speeds. It gives no gear ratio and no shaft torque, so 8000 rpm is engine speed, well above the speed at the bit.
Ask JOYWAY for the reduction gearbox data, the bits it approves, any clutch or stop arrangement, and the gearbox service instructions. Drilling capacity depends on soil, bit shape and gearing as well as the 1700 W rating.

Describing your planting or fencing job
Tell JOYWAY what the holes are for, their diameter and depth, the ground and any site limits. The catalogue gives no soil class, tolerance for stones or roots, duty limit or holes-per-hour rate. Those decide whether this powerhead and your chosen bit will cope.
Ask for JOYWAY's stated limits and a demonstration in ground like yours before you commit to a size. JOYWAY also lists the JW-DR630 and JW-GD520 petrol earth drills, so ask which of the three best suits your bit and hole size. The handle frame in the photo suggests a two-handed machine; the manual should say how many operators it needs and what training they need.
Certificates for the DR520
The company page shows a compliance image issued to Yongkang Nantian Industry & Trade for an earth auger. The image does not link that holder to Wuyi Zhongwei, and no JW-DR520 model can be read on it.

Buyer questions
Is 8000 rpm the drilling speed?
No. It is the maximum engine speed in the table. JOYWAY does not list the bit speed or gear ratio. [1]
Will the 250 mm auger work in any ground?
The catalogue lists the size with no ground rating. Ask JOYWAY to confirm in writing the soil limits for that bit on this powerhead. [1]
How deep can it drill?
Bit length, extensions and depth limit are not published. Request them for the bit you choose. [1] [2]
Does the earth-auger certificate on the company page cover the DR520?
It names Yongkang Nantian as holder and no DR520 model is legible. Ask for certificates issued for this drill. [3]
What the sample and shipment include
The 13/14 kg weights do not name a bit or kit. Put the full package on paper, so the sample and the later shipment can be checked against each other. On this site the drill sits in the garden and forestry section, next to JOYWAY's cordless chainsaw.
