Airuiteke PP Pipe Saddle
The Airuiteke saddle clamps around an irrigation main and gives a threaded branch outlet. It has a two-part body held by bolts. The catalogue table lists 61 combinations of main-pipe size and outlet size, in 12 main-pipe groups from 20 to 160, with outlets from 1/2 up to 4. The table has no column headings, and some outlet labels are written run together, for example 11/4. To order, give your main pipe and the fitting that will screw into the outlet. Ask Airuiteke for the thread standard, a dimensioned drawing, the assembly instructions and a pressure rating for the combination you choose.

The section drawing shows the body wrapped round the main pipe with the outlet on top. Two connections have to be right: the clamp on the main and the thread on the branch. The drawing marks the thread G as a dimension letter, so ask which thread standard applies. If the branch needs its own shut-off, Airuiteke also makes a PP double-union ball valve; check its end connection against the branch fitting.
Main pipe
Give pipe material, measured outside diameter, wall, standard and condition. Ask for the pipe range the saddle fits for your row.
Branch outlet
Name the fitting that will go into the outlet. Ask for thread form, size, dimensions and sealing method, with labels such as 11/4 written out in full.
Dimensions and position
Ask for G, H, L and d in figures, the outlet orientation and the space needed to fit the saddle.
Other saddle types
For two outlets or a different mounting, choose the matching item from the range, such as the double-headed saddle.

Bolts, seal and drilling the main
The saddle is a two-part body with visible bolts. The catalogue gives no bolt grade, tightening order, torque, seal material, hole size or drilling method, and it makes no claim for fitting on a live, pressurised pipe.
Ask Airuiteke for installation instructions for this saddle on your pipe: how to isolate and depressurise the line, prepare and drill the pipe, seat the seal, tighten the bolts and check the result. Ask too how the branch and anything hung on it should be supported. Record the seal and bolt part codes with the drawing so replacements match.
Pressure, water and flow at the branch
The page gives no pressure and temperature limits or flow data. Send Airuiteke your operating conditions so the answer covers the saddle, your main pipe and the branch fitting together.
