What the six-year panel and terrain list mean

A footnote in the catalogue explains the six-year panel as the longest fault-free run of one machine. It gives no hours of use, duty, maintenance history or warranty promise. Ask Oujiabao for its written warranty on the OJB-950.

The product page also says one machine works mountains, hills, plains, orchards, vegetable plots, wet and dry fields and greenhouses. Ask for the instructions and the slope and wet-ground limits that apply to the model before you use it on difficult ground.

Will 36 cm and 10–17 cm suit your ground?

Describe your ground to Oujiabao: whether it was worked before, soil texture, moisture and compaction, roots and stones, bed width and crop spacing. Ask what the 10–17 cm depth refers to and which tines and how many passes it assumes. The sheet gives no draft force, gear ratio or measured work rate.

Test the 1 mu in 30 minutes figure in a trial on your own plot, counting turns, headlands and repeat passes. Request the machine weight, packed dimensions and permitted operating conditions as well. Other compact machines worth trialling on the same plot are the Cosmos C-T206 Mini Tiller and, if you prefer a four-stroke engine, the TOSFL TF-GT007 Four-Stroke Cultivator. Our rotary cultivator buying guide compares front-tine, rear-tine and reverse-rotation designs by plot and soil, which puts the OJB-950's width and depth in context.

Changeable working heads: what to list

Oujiabao says the OJB-950 head can be changed for ditching, loosening and weeding. The catalogue names no optional heads and gives no fitting dimensions, so build the parts list with the factory.

Optional working headsEach ditching, weeding or loosening head by name, and the jobs it is meant for.
Drive / guardingCoupling, gearbox and controls, and the guard that goes with each head.

Fuel, maintenance and spare parts

The OJB-950 uses a two-stroke engine, but the catalogue gives no fuel-oil ratio, service interval or running-time test. Get these from the manual for the 44F-5A engine supplied with your machines.

Ask for a list of tine and drive wear parts, engine consumables, inspection criteria and a written warranty and repair route. The 800 ml figure is the fuel volume; ask for fuel use under load if it matters to your costing. Make sure the quotation lists every working head included in the price.
