Tillage
Nongbang NB-80 Electric Rotary Tiller
The Nongbang NB-80 is a pure-electric rotary tiller built for tracked work in small plots such as greenhouses and orchards. A Ningbo science association watched it do tillage and ditching when it visited Nongbang in December 2023. Its report also mentions a self-levelling rotary unit that reacts to hard objects. Nongbang has not posted a sales specification or battery schedule, so ask for the current build, its dimensions, its battery package and a field trial on your own ground before you order.

Build my procurement briefThe NB-80 demonstration in December 2023
The association published its report on 24 January 2024, covering a company visit on 29 December 2023. It names the NB-80 when it describes the tillage and ditching demonstrations. That gives buyers a real model name to quote. The report is a visit account, so it carries no measured performance table or delivered-machine specification.
The report also mentions machine data transmission and the rotary unit design. It names no communication protocol, controller version or data port a buyer could use. If remote data matters to you, ask Nongbang to list it on the quotation for the current machine.

Published specifications
Read each value with its stated conditions, and ask the manufacturer for any limit not listed here.
| Specification | Published value | Meaning / limit |
|---|---|---|
| Model | NB-80 [1] | Named in the association's report of the December 2023 demonstration. Ask Nongbang whether the NB-80 is still the current model. |
| Machine type | Pure-electric rotary tiller, shown on a tracked-tiller company visit [1] | Description from the visit report. Request Nongbang's dated specification sheet for the build you would buy. |
| Jobs demonstrated | Tillage and ditching [1] | The report gives no working width, depth, output or energy use for either job. |
| Rotary unit | Self-levelling, reacts to hard objects in the soil [1] | The report gives no threshold or operating limit. Ask Nongbang for the limits and the damage cover in writing. |
| Battery | No battery schedule published for the NB-80 [2] | The 2026 university meeting covers Nongbang's tracked tiller project but does not name a battery package for the NB-80. |
Fitting the tiller to your plot
The report places the machine in confined plots, greenhouses and orchards. Access, working geometry and turning space each need their own figures. Tracks alone tell you none of them. If a petrol machine is also on your list for orchard rows, the Cosmos C-T206 Mini Tiller gives a point of comparison on width and access. Our guide to choosing a mini tiller or rotary cultivator explains how plot size and soil decide working width and depth, which helps you list the figures to ask Nongbang for.
| Your plot | What to ask Nongbang for |
|---|---|
| Doorways and crop aisles | Transport width and height, working width and clearance with the quoted implement fitted. |
| Headland and return path | Turning space and the approved way to turn the offered build. |
| Tillage or ditching | The attachment, its adjustment and the allowed working depth for that job. |
| Ground conditions | Describe your soil, stones, roots and terrain, and ask for written task and slope limits. |

How the levelling and obstacle response works
The association says the rotary unit levels itself during work and avoids hard objects in the soil. It does not say whether this uses sensors, a mechanical linkage or software, or how hard an impact it can take. Ask Nongbang to show the mechanism on the machine it will supply. Ask for the operating limits and a list of parts to inspect or replace after a heavy strike. Any demonstration should follow Nongbang's own instructions.

Battery, charging and run time
A January 2026 university report names Nongbang's integrated electric tracked tiller project in a meeting on battery solutions. It covers energy replenishment and further engineering work. It does not name the NB-80 as the machine or give a pack specification. Ask Nongbang in writing whether the 2026 project is a newer version of the NB-80. Buyers who would rather avoid battery logistics can weigh a petrol alternative such as the Oujiabao OJB-950 Mini Tiller.
For a quotation, ask for the battery identity and capacity with units, charger input, connection and pack-change instructions, and Nongbang's battery documents. Tell Nongbang your site power supply and work pattern. If a run time or charging time is quoted, ask for the build, attachment, soil, load and test method behind it, so you can compare it with your own work.
Buyer questions
Does the 80 in NB-80 stand for horsepower or capacity?
The report gives the model name only. Ask Nongbang for rated power and capacity on the specification sheet. [1]
Can the NB-80 do tillage and ditching?
Both jobs were demonstrated during the 2023 visit. Ask Nongbang for measured output and which attachments come with the current machine. [1]
Is the 2026 battery work an NB-80 upgrade?
The 2026 report does not tie it to the NB-80. Ask Nongbang for a document linking any battery upgrade to the machine version you are buying. [2]
Running a field trial on the current build
Treat the 2023 demonstration as a starting point. A trial for your order should keep the machine version, the task and the results tied together.
Before the visit
Get the model revision on offer, the full machine, implement and battery list, and Nongbang's operating instructions.
Agree the plot
Record soil and access conditions, the tillage or ditching result you need, and the method Nongbang approves.
Record the outcome
Note the attachment, settings and measured result with energy use. Keep working time apart from travel and idle time.
Close the supply scope
Match the trial machine to the quotation, packing list, spares, service duties and written acceptance terms.
