Neetrue NTS-101GS PVC Suction Hose
NTS-101GS is Neetrue's steel-wire reinforced PVC suction hose for drawing water into a dewatering or irrigation pump. It comes in green, black and clear, all with the same ten sizes from 20×26 mm to 100×118 mm (ID×OD). Working pressure is 4 bar up to 1¾ inches and 3 bar from 2 inches up, and rolls are 50, 40 or 30 m depending on size. Order by inside and outside diameter, and choose between the two 4-inch builds. Before ordering, ask Neetrue for the vacuum rating and the temperature scale.

Build my procurement briefChoose by pump intake conditions
Neetrue describes NTS-101GS for water suction with a matching dewatering pump and says the steel wire keeps full-vacuum ratings. Its table gives positive working and burst pressures; ask for a numeric vacuum rating to go with them.
NDSU Extension explains that suction head includes the lift of the water plus losses in intake pipe, bends, valves and fittings. Its pump guide links acceptable suction conditions to the pump's NPSH curve at the planned flow, and stresses airtight, air-free intake connections on centrifugal pumps. The guide's example lift figures are general teaching values for any intake. Suction lift, total head and pump curves are worked through in our guide to choosing a petrol engine water pump.
Bring the lowest expected water level, pump position, intake route, water temperature, fittings and required flow to the quotation, together with the pump curve. On an intake, collapse resistance and airtight joints matter more than a high burst figure.
Published specifications
Read each value with its stated conditions, and ask the manufacturer for any limit not listed here.
| Specification | Published value | Meaning / limit |
|---|---|---|
| Family | NTS-101GS in green, black and clear [1] [2] [3] | The three colours share one size table. The clear page calls the material green, so confirm compound and colour on the order. |
| Construction | PVC with steel-wire reinforcement [1] [2] [3] | Ask for wire grade, pitch, minimum bend radius and the vacuum test conditions. |
| Dimensions | 20×26 to 100×118 mm ID×OD [2] [3] | Match fittings to both diameters, and ask for coupling sizes and tolerances. |
| Working pressure | W.P. 4 or 3 bar, by size [1] [2] [3] | Burst pressure is a separate column at 10, 12 or 15 bar. Ask for the temperature and test basis behind both. |
| Vacuum | Full vacuum, as Neetrue describes it [1] [2] [3] | No vacuum level, duration or temperature is printed. Ask for these, and plan suction lift from the pump curve. |
| Temperature | 15–150 degrees; scale not stated [1] [2] [3] | Ask Neetrue whether this is Celsius or Fahrenheit and whether it is the working range. |
Ten sizes: diameters, roll length and weight
These rows match the black and clear tables. Length is the roll as supplied. Weight is empty hose per metre, without water, fittings or packing. Ask Neetrue for tolerances on both diameters.
| Size / ID×OD | Roll, weight and pressure |
|---|---|
| ¾ inch / 20×26 mm | 50 m; 0.30 kg/m; W.P. 4 / B.P. 15 bar. |
| 1 inch / 25×30 mm | 50 m; 0.38 kg/m; 4 / 15 bar. |
| 1¼ inches / 32×38 mm | 50 m; 0.50 kg/m; 4 / 15 bar. |
| 1½ inches / 38×44 mm | 50 m; 0.56 kg/m; 4 / 15 bar. |
| 1¾ inches / 45×50 mm | 50 m; 0.80 kg/m; 4 / 15 bar. The green page prints this size as “1-34”; ask for the exact designation. |
| 2 inches / 50×58 mm | 50 m; 1.00 kg/m; 3 / 10 bar. |
| 2½ inches / 65×73 mm | 40 m; 1.30 kg/m; 3 / 10 bar. |
| 3 inches / 75×84 mm | 40 m; 1.75 kg/m; 3 / 10 bar. |
| 4 inches / 100×110 mm | 30 m; 2.60 kg/m; 3 / 10 bar. |
| 4 inches / 100×118 mm | 30 m; 4.60 kg/m; 3 / 12 bar. |
Two 4-inch builds
Both 4-inch rows list 100 mm ID and 3 bar working pressure. The 118 mm OD row is heavier and has a higher burst figure. Neither has its own suffix, so write the OD on your order instead of asking for a plain 4-inch hose.
| Difference | What it means for your order |
|---|---|
| 100×110 mm or 100×118 mm | Outside diameter sets the coupling and clamp size. Ask for the connector spec and tolerance for your build. |
| 2.60 or 4.60 kg/m | Empty hose weight. Ask separately for packed weight and filled handling load; weight alone is a poor guide to life. |
| B.P. 10 or 12 bar | The burst figures differ while working pressure stays at 3 bar for both. Design to 3 bar and ask for the vacuum rating of each build. |
| Same model and colours | Put the full ID×OD and construction on the sample request and order drawing, because model and colour fit both rows. |
Ends, temperature and fluids
All three pages describe factory-fitted aluminium male and brass female ends, while the clear product photo shows a roll without ends. Ask whether your rolls come fitted or bare, and which thread, gasket and clamp are used. Delivery from the same pump onward to an irrigation system can run through Neetrue's PVC lay-flat hose.
| What Neetrue states | What to settle before connecting |
|---|---|
| Temperature “15 to 150 degrees” | The scale, and the working and vacuum ratings at your actual water temperature. |
| Aluminium male / brass female ends | Fitted or bare supply, exact thread standard, seal, and the pressure test of the assembled hose. |
| PVC resists mild acids and alkalis | A compatibility chart for any chemical you plan to pump, with concentration and temperature. Drinking-water use needs its own approval. |
| Anti-aging | Exposure test, expected service life and written warranty terms. |
| Bending and routing | Minimum bend radius, vacuum performance when bent, and routing and handling instructions for your intake. |
Write an intake order Neetrue can quote
A clear order links the hose row to your pump and water source. Ask Neetrue to define the vacuum and pressure checks for the supplied assembly, instead of improvising tests on site. What a vacuum figure means for suction hose is set out in our hose and pipe specification guide.
Name the construction
NTS-101GS, ID×OD, roll length, reinforcement and, for 4 inches, which build. Keep the dimensional drawing.
Describe source and pump
Water-level range, pump position, route and fittings, water temperature and flow. Attach the pump curve and ask for an intake review.
Confirm hose and ends
Written vacuum, temperature and pressure ratings, bend limits and exact ends, stating whether each figure covers bare hose or the assembly.
Keep records for repeat orders
Agreed checks, construction traceability, packing and weight basis, and support terms. Reorder by construction, since one colour spans several rows.
Buyer questions
Do the green, black and clear hoses perform differently?
Their model and size tables match. If colour matters for your use, ask Neetrue whether compound or test data differ between them. [1] [2] [3]
Is 3 or 4 bar a vacuum rating?
These are positive working pressures. Ask Neetrue for a vacuum figure with test conditions, and work out suction lift from your pump curve. [1] [2] [3] [4]
