HAIDAO H36 CBC-401C Brushcutter
The HAIDAO H36 CBC-401C is a 36 V cordless brushcutter for grass, weeds and light scrub. HAIDAO lists three cutting options: a 330 mm line head, a 305 mm straight blade and a 255 mm 40-tooth blade. You fit one at a time, so pick the head that suits your vegetation. The motor is rated at 9000 rpm, the tool weighs 5.5 kg with one 4 Ah pack, and the kit heading offers one H36B4 battery and one H36C charger. HAIDAO quotes one hour of running with no load. Ask for a loaded figure and the approved head and guard pairings before you order.

Build my procurement briefPick the head and guard together
The three widths are three cutting setups for one tool. HAIDAO gives no stem-diameter limit, no vegetation classes and no complete replacement assembly. A wider head is not automatically the right one, so choose by the work. Brushcutters from other makers in the garden and forestry category can be held to the same points.
| Cutting option | What to ask before choosing |
|---|---|
| 330 mm line head | Ask for the head and line specification, how line is fed and the matching deflector. The product picture shows a line head but gives no line size or reloading steps. |
| 305 mm straight blade | Ask for the blade code, mounting parts, rotation direction and the guard HAIDAO approves with it. Diameter alone will not tell you if a blade fits. |
| 255 mm 40-tooth blade | Tooth count does not set a woody-stem limit. Ask for the exact blade and the material and stem sizes it is meant for. |
| What is in the box | The title confirms one pack and one charger. Ask which of the three heads, guards and fitting sets are included, and list each in the offer. |
Motor speed and approved attachments
HAIDAO gives 9000 rpm as the rated motor speed. The gear ratio, cutting-head speed, speed under load and the maximum speed allowed for an attachment are not published. Fit only heads and blades from HAIDAO's approved list, rather than matching an accessory to the motor figure.
An HSE safety alert from 2013 describes failures of non-standard linked-metal brushcutter heads and stresses using cutting tools and guards approved by the maker. The alert deals mainly with petrol machines, but the same reasoning applies when you choose heads for any brushcutter. Chain-flail heads are not among the three options HAIDAO lists.
Ask HAIDAO for the CBC manual and its head and guard list, with mounting parts, inspection steps and working limits. Fastener torque, flange size, locking method and adjustment steps all belong in that manual. Blade, battery-pack and market-document questions for brush cutters are gathered in our guide to buying handheld petrol and battery garden tools.
No-load hour and real cutting time
The Chinese product page describes the one-hour figure as no-load running. Real cutting adds vegetation resistance, head choice, ground contact, walking and pauses, and HAIDAO gives no loaded test. Expect less than an hour on dense grass or woody growth, and ask HAIDAO for a figure before you plan the area you can cover per charge.
The 800 W figure is a maximum output, not an average draw or a continuous rating. The pack capacity alone will not tell you usable energy, cut-off point or how the tool behaves when hot. For a planned work session, ask for a demonstration with the approved head, representative vegetation, the named pack and clear start and stop conditions.

Published specifications
Read each value with its stated conditions, and ask the manufacturer for any limit not listed here.
| Specification | Published value | Meaning / limit |
|---|---|---|
| Model and motor | H36 CBC-401C; 36 V; 9000 rpm rated motor speed [1] | This is motor speed. Ask HAIDAO for the cutting-head speed and the maximum speed allowed for each attachment. |
| Cutting options | Line head 330 mm; straight blade 305 mm; 40-tooth blade 255 mm [1] | Each width belongs to its own head. Ask for line size, blade bore, flange and part numbers. |
| Power and run time | 800 W maximum output; 1 h no-load running [1] | The hour is measured without cutting. Request a run time under load for your vegetation. |
| Weight and size | 5.5 kg with one 4 Ah pack; 1890 × 625 × 537 mm overall [1] | Weight with one pack fitted. Packed gross weight and balance are not listed. |
| Battery and charger | H36B4: 36 V / 4.0 Ah; H36C: 220 V input, 42 V / 2.0 A output [1] | The heading offers one battery and one charger. Put the counts and a charger suited to your local voltage in the offer. |
H36 kit, size, weight and noise
The H36B4 pack is listed at 36 V, 4.0 Ah and 0.9 kg with a 2 h charge. HAIDAO's H18 range runs at a different voltage, so its packs and chargers are a separate system. The H36 CS40-401C chainsaw and H36 BBL-0 blower carry the same H36 label; ask HAIDAO whether the pack is shared.
| Published figure | What to record for delivery |
|---|---|
| H36C charger | 220 V input and 42 V / 2.0 A output. Keep the approved pairing, the nameplate and electrical documents for your mains supply. |
| 5.5 kg with a 4 Ah pack | Weight with one pack. The weight with each head and for the full kit is not listed; ask HAIDAO for both. |
| 1890 × 625 × 537 mm overall | Assembled size. Check the handle width against narrow crop rows or paths where you will work. |
| 1800 × 220 × 200 mm carton | Carton size only. Ask for packing details, assembly instructions and gross shipping weight. |
| 82 dB(A) pressure / 94 dB(A) power | Two different noise measures. Request how both were measured before you set operator exposure. |
Handover and spare parts
At handover, tie the cutting setup you chose to the delivered tool and its service papers. Ask HAIDAO to fill any missing details in writing.
Attachment
Approved head or blade with its guard, the right mounting parts and the current manual for your vegetation. Note which of the three setups was supplied.
Work trial
A loaded session on representative growth, recording finish, the pack used, pauses and run time, kept apart from the no-load figure.
Spare parts
Part numbers and supply for heads, line, blades, deflectors and fittings. A similar width is not enough to order by.
Warranty abroad
HAIDAO's repair policy gives one year in mainland China with transport excluded. Agree the overseas seller's remedy, parts route and freight terms.
Buyer questions
Are the three heads three different models?
No. They are three cutting setups listed under the one H36 CBC-401C model. [1]
Will it cut for an hour on a 4 Ah pack?
HAIDAO's hour is measured with no load. No cutting run time is published, so ask for one. [1]
Can I pick a blade by the 9000 rpm figure?
That is the motor speed. HAIDAO lists no cutting-head speed or attachment chart, so choose from its approved head and guard list. [1] [3]
Why are there two noise figures?
82 dB(A) is sound pressure and 94 dB(A) is sound power. They measure different things and are not interchangeable. [1]
