HAIDAO states 40 pieces from one 4 Ah battery on solid wood 17 cm in diameter. The page gives no wood species, moisture, log condition, cutting method or battery cut-off point, and no time taken or length of each piece.
Read it as 40 pieces of 17 cm wood under HAIDAO's own test. It is not a count for large trees, for every species or for a full day's work, and it will not convert to cubic metres per charge or compare with a saw tested on other timber. For orchard or forestry work, send HAIDAO a description of your wood and ask for the original test basis and a repeat trial with the saw, chain and pack you will buy.
A good trial record separates cuts made from pieces produced, notes the starting charge and wood condition, and logs cutting time apart from pauses.

Guide bar, chain and chain speed
The 400 mm guide and 380 mm cutting length are the CS40's bar figures. HAIDAO gives no maximum log diameter; the 17 cm wood in the cut count is a separate test case. For limbs overhead, HAIDAO's H18 RHBS-402FC2 pole saw is the reach tool in the range.

Chain oil, maintenance, noise and training
The oil tank holds 150 mL. HAIDAO does not state the oil grade, how oil reaches the chain, how much each cut uses or how often to refill. Ask whether oiling is automatic or adjustable, and request the lubrication, chain and guide inspection and service instructions for this model with the approved parts.
