DAYEE DY210-3000SB-00 Remote Mower

The DAYEE DY210-3000SB-00 is a battery-powered remote-controlled mower with electric start. DAYEE lists a 3000 W power entry, a 48 V / 40 Ah battery, 30–70 mm cutting height, 0–3 km/h travel speed, 25° maximum tilt and 500 m remote distance. The machine measures 1050 × 980 × 470 mm and weighs 108 kg net. The cutting width is printed as 20 inch (520 mm), two figures that do not quite match. Below: the full table, how to read the slope and range figures, battery questions, and what to put in a quote request.

Build my procurement brief

Describe your mowing site first

DAYEE sells the DY210 as a remote mower for rough ground, but the page sets no limits for stem thickness, brush, stones, hidden obstacles or wet grass. Tell the factory what you will cut and where. The same DAYEE range also has two remote crawler versions, the DY210-224SB-00 and the DY330-764SB-00, which can be quoted alongside this one.

List the vegetation, the access route, the edges and any people or property nearby. Ask for the operating restrictions in the current manual and a demonstration by a trained operator on ground like yours. Note the height and travel speed used, how the cut looks afterwards and what was left behind, and check the thrown-object guarding while you are there.

25° for the DY210, 50° for the series

The brochure's introduction to the professional series says slopes up to 50° and remote control over 200 m. The DY210 table beside it says 25° maximum tilt and 500 m remote distance. For this model, plan on 25° and 500 m.

The 25° figure carries no slope direction or ground condition. Ask DAYEE in writing for the slope instructions for your build: direction of travel, traction and surface conditions, allowed manoeuvres and how to stop. Keep any site trial inside those instructions.

Remote control and stopping

The table gives a 500 m range and nothing on radio conditions or link loss. The DY210 is driven by an operator; the material describes no self-navigation, obstacle detection or unattended mode.

QuestionWhat to get from DAYEE
Operator supervisionThe viewing and separation distances the manual requires. Signal range is a different number.
Link lossWhat the blades and drive do when the link drops, the transmitter fails or stop is pressed, shown in a demonstration.
Start and restartHow cutting and drive are enabled, which interlocks exist and how work restarts after an interruption.
Site conditionsLimits for radio interference, obstructions and weather.

Published specifications

Read each value with its stated conditions, and ask the manufacturer for any limit not listed here.

SpecificationPublished valueMeaning / limit
Model and operationDY210-3000SB-00; electric-start remote mower [1] [2]The product page and the brochure model table agree. Ask which production revision and remote controller will ship.
Power3000 W [1] [2]The table does not say whether this is cutting, drive or total battery draw.
Battery48 V / 40 Ah [1] [2]Nominal values. Chemistry, usable energy, charge time and charger supply are not listed; ask for them with the quote.
Cutting width20 inch (520 mm), as printed [1] [2]Twenty inches is 508 mm. Ask for the blade and deck drawing with the measured width.
Cutting height30–70 mm [1] [2]Adjustment range. The manual should show how it is set and measured.
Travel speed0–3 km/h [1] [2]Drive speed range. Area cut per hour depends on your route and grass.
Maximum tilt25° [1] [2]Slope direction, surface and traction conditions are not printed. The 50° figure in the brochure belongs to the series introduction.
Remote distance500 m [1] [2]Signal range. The manual sets how far the operator may be from the machine and what happens if the link drops.
Machine and packed dimensionsMachine 1050 × 980 × 470 mm; package 1110 × 1040 × 640 mm [1] [2]Service clearance and the size with controls fitted need the dimensioned drawing.
Net and gross massNet 108 kg; gross 142 kg [1] [2]Ask whether the battery is included in each figure before planning lifting and transport.

Battery and run time

48 V × 40 Ah gives 1920 Wh, or 1.92 kWh, as nominal stored energy. At a constant 3000 W that would last about 0.64 hour. Real run time depends on usable capacity, grass, ground and how much of the 3000 W the machine actually draws, so treat this as a rough bracket and ask DAYEE for a measured session.

Request a run-time figure that names the battery, starting charge, cutting and travel conditions and when the session ended. Ask also for the charger, its power supply, charge time, and storage and battery-service instructions as part of the quote. If charging time is a constraint on your site, the DY400-815SB-00 diesel crawler mower is an engine-driven alternative from the same maker.

Cutting width, height and area per hour

The table prints 20 inch alongside 520 mm, and 20 inches is 508 mm. Settle the real width before comparing decks or working out area per hour.

  1. Get the cutting geometry

Ask for the blade and deck identity and a measured cutting width, separate from the overall machine width.

  2. Check the height setting

Confirm how the 30–70 mm range is adjusted and measured on the delivered machine, then look at the actual stubble on your grass.

  3. Time a real strip

Record route, turns, overlap and stops along with the finished strip. Top speed of 3 km/h is a starting point for hourly area, no more.

  4. Compare like with like

Compare offers on the same vegetation, ground, route and finish standard.

Buyer questions

Can the DY210 mow 50° slopes?

The DY210 table gives 25° maximum tilt. The 50° figure is from the series introduction. Ask DAYEE for the slope direction and ground conditions that apply to 25°. [1] [2]

How long does the 48 V / 40 Ah battery last?

DAYEE publishes no run time. Nominal energy is 1920 Wh; ask for a measured session on stated grass and ground. [1] [2]

Is the cutting width 520 mm or 20 inches?

Both are printed, and 20 inches is 508 mm. Ask for the blade and deck drawing with the measured width. [1] [2]

Can it run unattended at 500 m?

500 m is the remote range. Ask for the manual's supervision rules and the link-loss and stop sequence, and confirm in writing whether any autonomous features exist. [1] [2]
