Benye 5E Helical-Transmission Tractor Series

The 5E is a helical-transmission tractor series in Benye's current Chinese catalogue, rated in the 100–120 horsepower (马力) class. It has 12 forward and 12 reverse gears with engagement-sleeve shifting, separate main and auxiliary clutches, hydraulic steering, a hydrostatic brake system, forced transmission lubrication and a Guhe front axle. Benye publishes these at series level. To get a firm quote, name the implement and field task, then ask Benye for the specific tractor model, engine, PTO and lift ratings that make up your build.

Build my procurement brief

From the 5E series to a specific tractor

Benye's power line places the 5E in a 100–120马力 band. The catalogue does not split it into separate 100 and 120 horsepower variants, and its detailed specification fields are left empty. The series name, the engine nameplate model, the emissions version and the performance sheet are four different things to pin down.

Ask Benye to name the tractor model and engine it will supply, state the power-rating basis and send the full build sheet. The catalogue photo shows a tractor with a cab. Confirm which cab, tyres, transmission and power option your unit will carry, and get that build schedule signed.

Read each value with its stated conditions, and ask the manufacturer for any limit not listed here.

Matching 12+12 to your field speeds

Twelve forward and twelve reverse gears give plenty of choice. The useful number is the travel speed each gear gives at your working engine speed and tyre size. Tell Benye the operation, the target speed and how often you reverse, and ask for the ratio and speed table with the control layout.

Benye describes the shifting as engagement-sleeve. Ask directly whether the gearbox has synchronised or shuttle shifting if quick direction changes matter for loader or headland work. The same entry mentions power-output shifting; request the PTO specification and operating instructions for the implement you plan to run.

5E and large 3B: same gear count, different hardware

Benye's large 3B series also lists 12+12. Its clutch and axle are described differently, so quote the series and build by name. The catalogue also has a 3548 Ningbo axle wheeled tractor entry; quote that heading separately if you weigh it against the 5E.

Feature5E compared with large 3B
Clutch5E has separate main and auxiliary clutches; large 3B has a double-action clutch. Ask for each one's service parts.
Front axle5E uses a Guhe front axle; large 3B has a one-piece front axle. Request the axle and ratio schedule for your build.
Implements namedLarge 3B lists compound seeders, ditchers, film-laying and stubble equipment. Ask Benye which of these it pairs with a 5E.

Pairing a 5E with an implement

To match an implement you need the PTO speed and spline, hitch geometry, hydraulic outlets and flow, lift capacity and allowed load layout. The 5E catalogue entry gives the power band only, so working width, lift and field output depend on the build Benye offers.

Describe the tool, the ground and the task, and ask Benye and the implement maker to agree a compatible set-up with operating limits. When the tool is a seeder, Benye can be the implement maker too: its 2BQD-8 electric pneumatic precision planter sits in the same catalogue, and other seeders are grouped under planting machines. For heavy or trailed loads, request the axle, tyre, ballast and coupling schedule with rated figures.

Controls, cab and maintenance documents

The 5E entry lists a neutral-start switch, hydraulic steering, the hydrostatic brake system and forced transmission lubrication. These are good points to check on the delivered tractor. Ask for the wiring and brake drawings, interlock test records, the transmission oil type and service intervals, along with the operator and workshop manuals.

The photo shows an enclosed cab. If you need a certified rollover or protective structure, air conditioning, or approval for slopes and public roads, ask Benye for the matching documents for your tractor. For braking, steering effort, noise, fuel use or durability, request test data or arrange a demonstration.

Buyer questions

Which 5E model is 100 hp and which is 120 hp?

Benye lists the 5E as a 100–120马力 series. Ask for the specific model, rating basis and build sheet of the tractor you want. [1] [5]

Does the 5E have a powershift or synchronised shuttle?

Benye describes 12+12 gears with engagement-sleeve shifting. Ask Benye to state the shift type in writing if shuttle work matters to you. [1]

Can I use the PTO and lift data from Benye's older English models?

The English site has no 5E page. Request current PTO and lift data for the 5E build and supplier on your contract. [1] [6]

Is the 5E cab certified as a protective structure?

Ask Benye which cab your tractor will have and for its protective-structure certificate if your market requires one. [2]

English documents and export support

Benye's English website still shows an older tractor range, carries a different English company name in its footer and has no 5E page. Ask for a current English document set issued by the legal supplier on your contract and covering the exact tractor offered.

The Chinese support page ties the warranty to the contract and describes training, maintenance and a domestic dispatch policy. Agree warranty length, engineer support, parts supply and responsibilities for your country in writing.
