Benye 2BQD-8 Electric Pneumatic Precision Planter
The Benye 2BQD-8 is an electrically driven pneumatic precision planter for ridge cropping. In one pass it places single seeds, applies side-deep fertilizer, finishes the seedbed and closes the furrow with V-shaped covering and pressing. It switches between two and three rows on a ridge, row and plant spacing are adjustable, and the control system monitors air pressure, missed or doubled seeds and missed fertilizer. Benye gives a maximum travel speed of 12 km/h. Size the order around your crop, seed lot and ridge shape, then agree a field placement trial with Benye.

Build my procurement briefPlan around your ridge pattern
The standout feature of the 2BQD-8 is the switch between two and three planting rows on each ridge. Benye does not say how many ridges one pass covers, so treat the "-8" suffix as part of the model name and ask for the working width and total active rows.
Send Benye your ridge width, ridge spacing, ridge top shape and where the rows should sit. Ask for a dimensioned plan of each mode, showing active seed units, wheel positions and how you change modes. Check the layout against your later cultivation and harvest machines, and get the adjustment range and setting method in writing.
Published specifications
Read each value with its stated conditions, and ask the manufacturer for any limit not listed here.
| Specification | Published value | Meaning / limit |
|---|---|---|
| Model | 2BQD-8 [1] | Electric-drive pneumatic precision planter. Ask Benye for the total row count of the build offered. |
| Ridge planting modes | Two or three rows on a ridge [1] | Request a configuration drawing showing total rows, ridges covered and adjustment ranges. |
| Maximum speed | 12 km/h [1] | Benye's top travel speed. Confirm the working speed for your seed and soil in a trial. |
| Control and monitoring | All-electric control; air-pressure, seed-miss/double and fertilizer-miss monitoring [1] | Ask for sensor accuracy, alarm thresholds and response time. |
| Spacing control | Adjustable row and plant spacing [1] | Ask for the spacing range and steps, controller settings and the list of crops and seed discs supported. |
| Combined field operations | Side-deep fertilizer, single-seed placement, seedbed finishing and V-shaped covering/pressing [1] | Request the fertilizer offset, sowing depth and press-wheel force ranges. |
Seed metering and a seed-lot trial
Benye describes the metering as pneumatic and electrically driven, with precise plant-spacing control. Ask whether it works on vacuum or positive pressure, how the fan is driven, which discs are available, and what seed sizes and shapes it handles. Then ask which seed units and discs suit your crop and graded seed.
For acceptance, name the seed batch, its grading, the disc fitted and the target spacing. Have Benye set the machine, then compare measured seed placement with the controller log. Agree beforehand how misses and doubles are counted, over what row length, and the pass mark.

Checking the four monitor functions
Benye names four monitored conditions. In a demonstration, match each screen alert to what you find in the furrow.
| Monitored item | What to ask Benye to show |
|---|---|
| Air pressure | Where pressure is sensed, which air circuit it covers, the normal operating range and set point, and how a pressure drop is flagged. |
| Missed seed | A controlled demonstration of detection and alarm, followed by a dig-up check with your seed lot at your speed. |
| Double seed | How a double is detected and counted, and any known limits with your seed. Compare the count with a hand-measured sample. |
| Missed fertilizer | Which delivery points are monitored, how a blockage is reported, and whether application rate is measured separately from the miss alarm. |

Speed, placement quality and daily output
Twelve kilometres per hour is Benye's published maximum. The catalogue gives no seed lot, ridge condition, soil moisture, target spacing or miss and double rates for that speed, and no working width, so hectares per hour has to come from your own trial.
Agree a trial with your crop, ridge mode and typical field conditions. Record actual speed with spacing variation, misses, doubles, seed depth and covering, and repeat at a lower speed to see where quality starts to drop. Add headland turns, refill stops and road travel separately when planning daily output.

Side-deep fertilizer and furrow closing
Fertilizer goes in beside and below the seed in the same pass, followed by V-shaped covering and pressing. Ask Benye which fertilizer types the unit takes, the application-rate range, the sideways and depth offset from the seed, and closing pressure. Set these to your crop and agronomy plan.
Request a cross-section drawing of the seed and fertilizer paths and the adjustable opener, covering and press parts. In the trial, dig up and check seed position, fertilizer position and furrow closure. Ask for the cleaning procedure, fertilizer guidance and what the monitor reports when flow stops.
Tractor hook-up, power supply and controller
The catalogue's specification fields are blank, so the hook-up data comes from Benye on request. Ask for the electrical voltage and current, how each subsystem is driven, hitch geometry, required tractor power, any hydraulic or PTO demand, machine mass and transport dimensions.
Get a full connection schedule covering power supply and connectors, fan drive and air demand, hitch and load, and the controller and software version. Benye also builds tractors, including the 5E series. If you plan to pair the planter with one, ask Benye to confirm that combination in writing. The same request works for the 3548 Ningbo axle wheeled tractor if that is the model you have in mind.
Buyer questions
Is the 2BQD-8 an eight-row planter?
Benye describes two or three rows on a ridge and does not state total rows. Ask for the configuration drawing of the build offered. [1] [2]
Can I plant at 12 km/h with my seed and soil?
12 km/h is Benye's stated maximum. Run a placement trial with your crop and seed lot at the speeds you plan to use. [1]
Does the fertilizer monitor measure application rate?
Benye lists a missed-fertilizer alarm. Ask how flow detection, rate control and a physical rate check work on the offered build. [1]

Documents and support for export buyers
Benye publishes the same Chinese description on a second company website. Claims about international leadership and handling difficult ground come from that marketing text; ask for test reports or certificates for this model if your market needs them.
Benye's support policy ties warranty to the contract and describes training and domestic service. For an export order, ask for an English manual for this model, controller training, a parts list and written support terms for your country, including engineer availability and spare-part lead times.
