Yangteng 07014 Dual-Outlet Watering Timer
The Yangteng 07014 is a battery-powered tap timer with one inlet and two outlets, so one tap can feed two watering lines on separate schedules. Yangteng lists four watering programmes with Sunday-to-Saturday day selection, manual watering and a rain-delay function. It runs on two AA batteries, works from 1 to 8 bar, and has an ABS/POM case of 160 × 115 × 75 mm weighing 270 g without batteries. Before ordering, send your two watering tasks, tap thread and water pressure, and ask Yangteng to show how the programmes split between the outlets.

Build my procurement briefTwo outlets, two watering jobs
A lawn sprinkler and a drip line can share one tap and still need different run times and different flow. The 07014 gives you two outlets to handle both. When the garden grows past two zones on one tap, a multi-station unit such as the RAIN LING RL-CA08 Eight-Station Irrigation Controller or the RL-CA13 / RL-CA16 Modular Irrigation Controllers is the next step up. Use the rows below to work out what to ask for your own layout. Yangteng is one of the suppliers listed in our irrigation category.
| Your layout | What to settle for the 07014 |
|---|---|
| One sprinkler plus one drip line | Describe the sprinkler and the emitters separately. Ask how the four programmes are assigned and whether overlapping schedules open both outlets. |
| Two lawns at different times | Ask for the programme sequence and the shortest and longest run time. Check what happens when start times overlap or a manual run cuts into a schedule. |
| A low-pressure water source | Measure pressure at the tap while water is flowing and send that figure. A pressure reading alone says nothing about flow. Yangteng's lower limit is 1 bar. |
| Watering while you are away | Ask about the low-battery warning, what the valve does if power fails, and how the timer recovers. |

Published specifications
Read each value with its stated conditions, and ask the manufacturer for any limit not listed here.
| Specification | Published value | Meaning / limit |
|---|---|---|
| Water connections | One inlet; two outlets [1] | The product page gives no thread size or standard. Ask for both, and ask whether the outlets can run at the same time on separate programmes. |
| Programmes | Four watering programmes; weekly day selection [1] | Runs Sunday to Saturday. Start times per day, run-time limits and how programmes map to each outlet are in the operating manual; request it. |
| Pressure | 1–8 bar [1] | Yangteng's working pressure range. Flow rate and pressure loss through the timer are not published; ask for them at your supply pressure. |
| Power source | Two AA batteries [1] | Ask for battery type, expected battery life and what the valve does when batteries run low. |
| Housing materials | ABS / POM [1] | The case materials. For drinking-water contact or chemical dosing, ask for seal materials and the matching approval document. |
| Dimensions | 160 × 115 × 75 mm [1] | Check clearance around the tap, the display and both hoses once attached. |
| Weight | 270 g, excluding batteries [1] | The timer alone. Packed weight and carton quantity come separately. |
| Water protection | IPX6, as stated by Yangteng [1] | Ask for the IPX6 test report for this model and the winter and storage limits. |
Pressure range and water delivered
Yangteng gives a pressure range of 1–8 bar but no litres-per-minute figure and no pressure-drop graph. Splitting one tap into two outlets shares the same supply between them.
Send Yangteng your tap pressure under flow and the demand on each outlet. Ask for flow figures with one outlet open and with both open. If your sprinklers or drip line need a regulator or filter, size it from that equipment's own instructions.

Ask for a demonstration of your own schedule
Yangteng lists automatic and manual watering plus rain delay. The page does not give the button sequence, how long rain delay lasts, or whether the timer senses rain. A short video or live demonstration with your real schedule answers all three.
Write out your week
Give the days, start times and run times for outlet A and outlet B. Ask Yangteng to flag any limit before it quotes.
Show an interruption
Ask to see a manual run return to automatic mode, and how rain delay is cancelled or runs out. Ask whether rain delay is a manual setting or uses a sensor.
Record the battery state
Get the manual's battery requirements, low-battery response and programme memory. The demonstration should state which batteries it uses and their starting charge.
Keep the agreed setup
File a 07014 instruction sheet and photos of the confirmed programme screens with the order, as the reference for checking delivered units.

Tap thread, weather and drinking water
The case size is published; the thread size and standard are not. Send a drawing or clear description of your tap and hose fittings. Ask which adapters, seals and support the timer needs. Match fittings to the drawing, since a photo that looks like your tap can hide a different thread.
Yangteng rates the case IPX6. Ask for the operating and storage temperature limits and the instructions for draining and storing the timer in winter. Immersion and chemical dosing need the factory's written approval. If the water is for drinking, ask for model-specific drinking-water documents covering the case and seals.

What a 07014 sample should come with
A good sample request describes your installation and lists what Yangteng should show. These are the checks to agree before the sample ships.
| What you need to know | What to request |
|---|---|
| Correct fittings | A sample labelled 07014, connection dimensions and a parts list for any adapters. |
| Programme behaviour | The instruction sheet and a demonstration of your two schedules, overlap, manual override and rain delay. |
| Water delivery | Flow figures from Yangteng at your supply pressure and outlet demand, with the test layout and conditions stated. |
| Power and support | Battery instructions, failure behaviour, spare seals and written warranty terms. |

Buyer questions
Does rain delay mean the timer senses rain?
Yangteng names a rain-delay function but describes no rain sensor. Ask how the delay is set and how watering resumes. [1]
Can each outlet run its own four programmes?
Yangteng lists four programmes and two outlets without saying how they are shared. Ask for the manual and a demonstration of your schedule to see whether each outlet gets four. [1]
Is 270 g the shipping weight?
No. 270 g is the timer without batteries. Ask for the packed weight, accessories and carton quantity before comparing freight. [1]
What flow does each outlet deliver?
The product page gives no flow figure. Ask Yangteng to confirm in writing the flow at your tap pressure, with one outlet and with both open. [1]
