Ningben NY504 Tractor

Ningben lists the NY504 tractor in two of its catalogue series. The square-hood version has an open operator station with an arch and carries an NY504(G4) marking on the hood. The 3B cab version has a closed cab with doors, glazing and lights. Both show rear linkage and front weights. The model pages publish photos only, so engine power, transmission, PTO, hydraulics, lift capacity and dimensions all come from Ningben's configuration sheet for your build. This page compares the two versions, then covers cab and access, implement hook-up, engine and G4 documents, spare parts and handover.

Open station or cab: the two NY504 versions

The square-hood page and the 3B cab page both use the name NY504, and the photos show two different operator stations. Settle which one you are buying before comparing prices. Ask Ningben for a dated configuration sheet that names the series, engine, chassis revision and included equipment, so that two quotes describe the same machine.

VersionWhat to fix in the order
Square-hood, open stationFront, rear and side views show an open operator area with an arch. Name this version in the order and ask for the structure and operating documents that come with it.
3B cabFront, rear and side views show a closed cab. Ask for the cab's fitted equipment and dimensions on the configuration sheet.
Model and version markingThe open-station side photo reads NY504(G4) while the page title says NY504; the cab photo reads NY504. Ask Ningben which nameplate and production revision your tractor will carry.

Published specifications

Read each value with its stated conditions, and ask the manufacturer for any limit not listed here.

3B cab entryClosed cab in original photographs [2] [6] [7] [8]The side view carries NY504. Ask about air conditioning, noise level and cab structure approval.
Engine and drivetrain ratingsNot released on the reviewed NY504 pages [1] [2] [9]Request power, engine model, driven axles, transmission speeds and PTO ratings for your build.
Hitch and hydraulicsRear linkage visible; ratings not provided [4] [7]Ask for hitch category, lift capacity and hydraulic outlet flow and pressure.
Size, mass and tyre specificationNo numerical configuration sheet obtained [1] [2] [3] [8]Request dimensions, mass and tyre data before checking farm entrances, implements or shipping.

Choosing the operator station for your farm

Pick the station that suits your work and buildings. For sheds, orchards or low doorways, ask for the overall height and width of the version you buy, the access clearance and whether the open-station arch may be folded.

For the cab, ask what ventilation or climate equipment is fitted, how entry works, and for the visibility and operator instructions. The photos show doors, glazing and lights; heating, air conditioning and noise figures need to come from Ningben. For the open station, ask for the protective-structure and seat-belt requirements of that tractor. For either version, request the rollover-protection documents that match the build.

Connecting your implements

Both rear photos show linkage hardware. Hitch dimensions, lift curve, hydraulics and PTO data are not published. If you already own a mower, rotary tiller or other attachment, send its connection and load details and ask Ningben to confirm the tractor's matching figures. Use Ningben's own figures for this tractor; other makers' 504-series tractors differ. The Xinglaihe TC504-A8 compact tractor is one such alternative to compare once both suppliers have sent their figures.

Implement needWhat to ask Ningben for
Mounted implementHitch category, connection dimensions, lift rating at a stated point, allowed implement loads and any stabiliser needs.
PTO-driven implementPTO shaft type, speeds, usable power, guarding and connection instructions for your build.
Hydraulic functionsGive the implement's pressure, flow, outlet and return needs, and ask Ningben to confirm the tractor's hydraulic figures in writing.
Balance and travelImplement mass and overhang for the tyre, ballast and axle-load check. Ask for the weight of the front ballast shown in the photos.

Engine rating and the G4 marking

The NY504 pages give no engine or drivetrain figures. Ningben's company profile puts its tractor range at 28–100 horsepower overall. Ask for the NY504's own rating; the model number and tyre size are no guide. The G4 marking on the square-hood hood is a label; ask what emissions approval stands behind it for your market.

  • Engineering data

Engine maker and model, rated power with speed and test basis, transmission and driven axles, all for the cab or open version you quote.

  • Market documents

Engine and whole-machine conformity documents for the tractor you receive, from Ningben itself.

Ordering spare parts for the right version

Because two different tractors share the NY504 name, a body panel, harness, control or accessory may fit only one of them. Ningben makes tractor parts, but the pages carry no serial-based parts catalogue, so order by build.

  1. Identify your tractor

Keep the tractor and engine nameplate details and the manual revision with the order. Photograph the fitted part and its marking.

  2. Request the part number

Ask Ningben for the part number, which builds it fits, and any replacement or fitting notes. Get written confirmation if the new part differs in design.

  3. Follow the manual

Take fluids, service intervals and adjustments from the engine and tractor manuals supplied with your machine.

Handover against the signed configuration

Before payment and shipping, agree which NY504 you are buying and the missing figures Ningben will supply. On delivery, compare the tractor with that signed specification. Price, stock, warranty and final test records come from Ningben's quote and delivery papers.

At handoverWhat to check and keep
Identity and equipmentSeries, serial and build record, engine, operator station, tyres, weights and connections. Resolve any swapped station or unexplained suffix before accepting.
Working demonstrationAgreed checks of controls and the implement functions you need, with the setup and pass criteria written down.
Manuals and termsOperating and maintenance manuals, conformity documents, transport size, who assembles, written remedies, parts supply and who handles a wrong build.

Buyer questions

Why does NY504 appear twice in the catalogue?

Ningben lists it in the square-hood series and in the 3B cab series, with different operator stations. Ask for the configuration sheet of the one you want. [1] [2]

Is the square-hood NY504 the cab tractor in the photos?

No. The square-hood page shows an open station; the cab photos belong to the 3B cab entry. [1] [2] [3] [6]

Is the NY504 a 50 horsepower four-wheel-drive tractor?

The NY504 pages publish no power or drive figures. Ask Ningben to state both in writing for the version you buy. [1] [2] [9]

What does G4 on the hood mean for my market?

It appears on the open-station side photo. Ask Ningben for the engine and tractor approval documents for your destination. [5]

Will my existing implement fit?

Send its hitch, PTO, hydraulic and load details, and ask Ningben to confirm compatibility in writing. [4] [7]
