Haowei DZH-100A Tea Cartoning Machine

The Haowei DZH-100A is an automatic tea cartoner. A tea feeder fills small cartons that the machine forms from flat blanks, loads, glues and discharges. Haowei lists 55–85 boxes/min for cartons of 68–72 × 38–42 × 18–22 mm on 250–350 g/m² board, and says the machine was developed for 25 g export-tea packs. Both Haowei tea pages describe this same model. To compare offers, send your tea and carton blank, name the modules you want, and agree a good-box rate and dosing accuracy from a sample run with your own materials.

Build my procurement brief

Send tea and carton samples together

Haowei describes a 25 g tea pack and a small carton range. A pack weight and three outside dimensions still leave the material questions open, so the trial needs your own tea and blanks. Cartoning sits at the end of the line; for the withering, fixation, rolling and drying machines that come before it, our guide to tea processing machinery by stage sets out which machine does each job.

What to sendWhy it matters for the DZH-100A
Real teaSend the leaf or particle form, target fill and quality needs. Ask Haowei for the tea properties it accepts and the dosing tolerance.
Carton blankSend the flat-blank drawing, folds, tabs, material, coating or print finish and a closed carton. Board grammage alone will not settle feeding, folding or gluing.
Trial resultAgree fill quantity and variation, tea condition after handling, box shape and seal using your materials. An empty-machine demonstration or catalogue collage cannot stand in for this.

From flat blank to closed box

Haowei's process diagram shows tea conveying and a carton path from magazine, separation and folding, through loading and flap folding, to sealing, forming and discharge. The feature text adds automatic feeding, carton delivery, folding, gluing and box forming.

  1. Tea feeding and dose

Ask which feeder or doser comes with the machine, how it delivers to the carton and what fill accuracy it holds. A hopper in the photo tells you nothing about accuracy.

  2. Blank supply and forming

Match your blank to the small carton range. Ask how a format is set and which parts or adjustments a change needs.

  3. Loading and closing

Agree timing, product placement, glue system and seal acceptance for your pack. Ask for glue type, consumption and seal strength.

  4. Output and linked machines

List the conveyors and any downstream wrapper, with controls and responsibility. Linking is possible, but the base offer may not include those machines.

Box rate and good-box output

55–85 boxes/min works out at 3300–5100 box cycles in an hour without a stop. Filling, glue and closing rejects, refilling magazines, interruptions and format changes all lower the real figure.

Before comparing offers, fix the tea, the carton, what the line includes, the test period and what counts as a good box. Count accepted boxes, rejects and stops separately in the trial. Ask Haowei to state any kilogram-per-hour or full-shift output in writing for your pack.

Published specifications

Read each value with its stated conditions, and ask the manufacturer for any limit not listed here.

SpecificationPublished valueMeaning / limit
ModelDZH-100A in both tea-page tables [1] [2] [3] [6]One catalogue model. The DBZ-100 named in a government record is a different model name; ask Haowei how they relate.
Design packDeveloped around a 25 g export-tea application [5]Haowei's design target. Ask for weighing accuracy and the tea densities it accepts.
Production capacity55–85 boxes/min [3] [6]Machine rate range. Agree test material, good-box yield, changeover and stoppage counting for your line.
Carton size rangeLength 68–72 mm × width 38–42 mm × height 18–22 mm [3] [6]The printed L×W×H range. Larger cartons shown in sample collages need their own written approval.
Cardboard grammage250–350 g/m² [3] [6]Board weight per square metre, listed under carton quality. It says nothing about box weight or tea fill. Your board, folds and finish need a sample run.
Air consumption200 L/min [3] [6]Ask for operating pressure, air quality and whether a compressor is included.
Total power3.5 kW [3] [6]Ask which modules this covers and whether external filling or wrapping machines are extra.

Outside dimensions2700 × 1400 × 1300 mm [3] [6]As printed. Ask for a module drawing with operator and service clearance; the tall feeder is not dimensioned separately.
Weight1500 kg [3] [6]Table figure without a stated basis. Ask for the delivery mass and handling instructions.
ControlsPLC, variable-frequency control and human-machine interface [4]As Haowei describes them. Ask for PLC brand, program access, protocol and safety level.
Detection and stopsNo-tea/no-box and skewed-box detection; position-related stopping and main-motor overload protection [4]Check each function on the machine you order. Defect-free yield and safety certification are separate questions.

Carton range and format changes

Both parameter images give a length of 68–72 mm, width of 38–42 mm and height of 18–22 mm. Haowei's wider artwork shows packs from other industries with no link to this table. For a much larger tea carton, ask Haowei for written approval and a trial.

For a second format, send its blank and product and ask for the change parts, adjustment range, setting instructions and an acceptance run. The 250–350 g/m² range leaves coating, stiffness, crease quality and glue fit open. Ask for the changeover time and which boards Haowei has run.

Detection and what happens on a fault

Haowei lists no-tea and no-box detection, skewed-box detection, a stop for incorrect positioning and overload protection. Ask how each fault is sensed, rejected and cleared.

  1. List the sensors

Name each sensor on your build and the box or tea condition it detects. Ask whether camera inspection or dose checking is offered.

  2. Define the response

Get the alarm, stop, reject and restart behaviour and the interlocks with upstream and downstream machines, including feeders or wrappers from others.

  3. Test it safely

Run the functional trial to Haowei's procedure with qualified staff and agreed checks, keeping guards in place.

  4. Keep the instructions

Request control, recovery, maintenance and operator documents. Ask about remote diagnostics, program access and the control brand.

Buyer questions

Is 25 g the dosing accuracy?

No. It is the pack Haowei designed the machine around. Ask for the allowed fill variation and the dosing unit offered. [5]

Do the two tea pages show two different machines?

Both tables name the DZH-100A with the same figures. Ask Haowei if there is any version difference. [1] [2] [3] [6]

Does 200 L/min include a compressor?

The table names neither a compressor nor an operating pressure. Ask Haowei for both. [3] [6]

Are 3300–5100 boxes/hour good boxes?

That is the stated cycle rate over an hour without stops. Good-box output comes from a trial with your tea and cartons. [3] [6]

Tea contact parts and cleaning

The images show feeding and transport parts but give no contact materials, cleaning instructions, disassembly steps or changeover cleaning procedure. These matter when you run different teas.

Ask Haowei to list every part that touches the tea and to supply the cleaning and maintenance instructions for your build. Ask for the steel grade, food-contact documents and contamination controls your market requires. Record any approved material or format change against the machine's configuration. Machines for the earlier steps of a tea line are grouped in our tea processing category.

Trial record, delivery and support

Haowei's pages give specifications only. Price, spare-parts stock, warranty period and a commissioning contract come with a quote.

  1. Fix one configuration

Record DZH-100A model and revision, supplied modules, tea and carton drawings and the utility data. The two web pages describe one standard build.

  2. Record the trial

Attach the samples, agreed fill, box and seal criteria, the rate basis and the reject and stop counts. The DBZ-100 recognition belongs to an older line.

  3. Agree delivery and training

Confirm shipment contents, handling, installation and operator training. Ask which building receives and ships, since the website and registration name different ones.

  4. Set support terms

Request wear parts, format parts and service documents for the model, with written delivery and warranty terms.
